I adore this!! My aunt has always been Tia so this hit very close to home. Sweet Mari loves all her aunties so much and it’d be such an honour to get a specific nickname from her.

I think Laura Lee gets Mummy sometimes - or just LaLa. Everyone gets Sissy sometimes. Jackie is auntie Jax, Mari is Auntie Mar. Akilah gets Kilah, Melissa is Missa, Gen is Gigi. Shauna gets Da - no one knows why, little!Lottie isn’t verbal enough to explain it. Travis is uncle Travy. Coach Scott is uncle coach (that’s what all the littles call him).

As for the others, Shauna is definitely the biggest reader. When she’s regressed she is also a huge Roald Dahl fan (they have a whole shelf in the book shelf filled with his books because everyone loves them), but for the most part she reads the same books she reads when she’s not regressed. She also loves frog and toad books. I can see Jackie, Gen, Akilah and Mari loving the babysitters club and the Rainbow Magic series. Tai is another Roald Dahl lover (I was raised on his books if you can’t tell). I can also see her loving saddle club and Junie B Jones. Also older chapter books. She also likes anything Van wants to read because Tai loves getting to read to Van (goosebumps, Berenstain Bears and anything about dinosaurs).

This!! Lottie is such a steady and calming presence, who always knows when to push and when not to. She makes Jackie feel so secure and comfortable being in whatever state or headspace she needs to be.

Nat’s childhood trauma impacts oretty much every part of her regression, at the start at least. But some of the main ones I imagine would be that she hides (under her bed, in her wardrobe, anywhere enclosed that she feels safe) whenever she feels scared or upset. She is also really non-confrontational and wont stand up for herself because she’s scared of getting in trouble. She can be clingy and emotional at times. She also has really bad nightmares and panic attacks at times.

This!! Poor Van tries really hard to hide how scared they make her, to stop people pushing their dogs on them. But she’s so scared that it’s hard not to freeze up. Their neighbours get over it eventually, after they bump into Van and Lottie on a walk one day and when they wont hold the dog back Van starts screaming. But strangers are just as bad. “Oh he doesn’t bite” “don’t worry she’s friendly!”. The others get very good at distracting dog owners while Van gets away.

Probably Mari and Shauna. Most of the others usually have meltdowns more than tantrums - though everyone is prone to a tantrum every now and again.

I giggled at this! I imagine Tai waking up very startled to multiple little’s just smiling at her. Everyone loves being around baby Lottie - and baby Lottie adores all of her big siblings so she’s always inviting them to join her.
