There would always be a partial guard up when it came to people, wanting to protect them from her, from the world. She knew how hard it was to live, how not every vampire or supernatural creature was a demon, was a monster in the world that deserved to die, Malia didn’t deserve it. Evelyn. Even Gage. None of them deserved the struggle or pain, none of them asked for this life. It made her jaw tense up thinking about the whole idea. So thank you. ❞ That was the thing, Malia had a short fuse, she would react, kill without thinking about what could happen, similar to what Alice once before did in her darker years.

That was only if shit hit the fan. Malia was more than capable of taking care of herself, and protecting herself. But some strong warriors still needed backup and to stop them from doing something stupid. If he were to even stop Malia, she might hurt him in the process to get to her mother. Him and Malia didn't get a long at first but things were better now. Mutual respect to say the least of what they held. "It's what family is for, right?"

"You are a nerd, but that's okay," she grinned. Her brother used to stay up all night playing video games if she didn't intervene. On the weekends she hadn't minded so much, but during the week she'd had to hide his controllers. "Me, too." Carsyn grinned up at him as his eyes slid shut and for the time being, she returned her gaze towards the movie until she, too, fell asleep. In her sleep, she curled up against his side, arm slipping across his waist.

Gage listened to Carsyn speak. Soft enough for him to dip into a deep sleep. Arm hanging loosely. Not a lot of toss and turning since he was out of it from the mix of weed and beer in his system. Blacked out completely until morning. Waking up he blanked and rubbed his eyes. Remembering that he fell asleep with her in his bed but only sleep. Taking one of his arms back he reached over on his side for the water bottle that was there, being very thirsty from his dry mouth. The effect of the weed from last night.

❝ Don't you fucking dare go to sleep! ❞ Selene smacked his chest lightly as her heart basically felt like it dropped to her stomach. ❝ Sorry my ass, you gave me a heart attack. ❞

He couldn't do it. Ryker couldn't bring himself to kill his ex. They worked for different bosses that put the other as a target. How fucked up is that? When both corporations realized neither were dead, they put action in their own hands. Hunt them down. The problem? They were the best assassinations in their unit.

"I am very glad to hear that, I will always be your big spoon." He couldn't help but smile, placing a small kiss against his lips before slipping out of the bed. "Nope, won't even notice. Come on then, we can make them together, that's a romantic thing to do right?"

Jack wasn't ashamed of being the little spoon. He liked being held by Aiden, more than he would like to admit. "Romantic?..well if there's food, I'm in." He smiled, "It's like food dye right?..except it's not. It's blood." Following Aiden down to the kitchen.

"Thanks, it was hard to find a good place once I moved here." Gina explained as she made her way in to the living room with a suitcase in her arms, showing that it was full of her clothes. "Wanna lend a hand? Unless you just want to wander around, I don't mind really." She spoke, folding some of the clothes inside of the suitcase before zipping it up.

Ryker moved from where he was. Reaching for the flask in his jacket opening it and offering it to her. "Take a drink from this. It's not booze. It's blood. Just take a sip." Already putting it in her hand as he started moving around helping her pack. At this point in time he wasn't going to kill her or plan to. She seemed tamed. Once as everything was zipped up he had taken his flask back and nudged towards the door. "If you're done, lets go."

Reese had stood up, full in the nude. Gazing as Riley walked, following her to the bathroom. That little dip of bending over did it for him. She was just as bad as he was. One slap to her ass, hard enough to echo but not hard enough to sting. Then another pat to her ass rubbing the area. "Come on naughty girl..." Arms wrapped around her from behind, guiding her into the shower. They really were high school sweethearts, like nothing changed other than them having a kid together. And of course, his maturity...even if he still had that bad boy reputation he knew when to man up and do the right thing.

Riley's eyes went wide from the spank on her ass but despite that, she also had a large smirk as well. She would always love Reese, even with all the lows and highs they had, he was an addiction and the trouble they could get into together could be fun. She matured a lot becoming a mother, being alone with him though... it all went out the window. She moved with him into the shower, placing her arm atop of his that was around her body as she leaned against his body. ❝ You love it. ❞ She mused as she let the water trail down their naked bodies, keeping her back against him so she could press her ass against him. She leaned her head back, letting the water trail over the found of her body, her head resting against his shoulder.

Blake was not one to have nightmares, she couldn't remember the last time she had one and felt like maybe everything that happened in that place would cause one. She kept her arms wrapped around Ryker, she had never felt more safer than she did with him. "I want to stay with you forever, I never want to leave you." She whispered softly, leaning in to kiss him.

Keeping his hands at her waist he held her there under the shower. Two different supernatural creatures, in love with each other. Being friends first was always best and he had known her for the longest time. "Then stay with me forever." A smirked turned smile. Letting their lips collide.

Aiden wanted nothing more than to get the hell out of wherever he had been taken. He knew that if he even tried to with his hands and feet bound that it would only end up with him falling flat on his face and that was something that he did not want to do. "I mean your own place or not, it's rude not to knock." He sighed for a moment, tugging at the restraints on his arms another time. "I mean aren't you the reason that I'm in this situation in the first place, but please do tell me how I can get out of here." He had some sarcasm to his voice, but he really did just want to get out of there, no matter what.

Standing there he listened to the vampire plead and the tugging at his tight bound restraints. Blinking a couple times in annoyance, wanting to kill him already but he was a valuable source. "Not going to tell you.." Muttering the words across his lips, like he had been talking to himself.
