"i am a tough guy, i'm glad you agree," he responded with a playful smirk. meanwhile, he had a reputation for being a pretty boy and letting the singer and guitarist in his group be the tough ones. "it's the best present i've ever gotten, actually. i want to unwrap it again and again." levi kissed her back softly, humming contently as he met her gaze. "not at all. you'll just have to worry about me getting a little too touchy all the time."

"The toughest," she laughed. God, she loved this man next to her. Izzy knew his reputation. She had been hesitant to do the interview that had brought them together but she was so glad she'd done it. "Okay, greedy." She snuggled against his side. "That is absolutely not something I'm ever going to worry about."

he spent most of the car ride with his head against the head rest, his eyes closed. he'd almost fallen asleep when they arrived at her place, shaking himself out of his daze as he followed her in. "oh, actually, yeah that would be nice." under the hot stage lights, he did get quite sweaty. now he was worried he smelled bad, and that was why she offered it. he tried to take a sniff of himself inconspicuously. "i knew it. i left my favorite madonna t-shirt here, didn't i?" he'd been searching for that thing forever, thought he lost it in a hotel or something.

"You sure did. C'mon." She nodded back towards her bedroom before heading down the hallway. There were quite a few of his t-shirts in her dresser. She'd never admit it, but she had worn those shirts quite a bit after their falling out. When she'd miss him, she'd fall asleep wearing one...it had been nice until the smell of him faded. Now, she was pretty sure they smelled like her now more than anything. "Here." The blonde held out the Madonna shirt before grabbing him a clean towel from the closet in the bathroom. She was sure she needed a shower, too but she didn't want to move to fast for him. "So after you shower...I'll rinse off and then we can find something to watch."

"if i was going to rob you, don't you think i would've done it when i was alone here? i've been here for a while, you know. you ran away and hid for ages." he teased with a sparkle in his eye, clearly enjoying himself. "jesus, that girl is insatiable." he couldn't help but laugh, both at amy's remarks and at izzy's reaction. "are you a prude or something? sex stuff clearly makes you uncomfortable - you keep making these faces, it's like you're a virgin." he squinted at her, like he could figure her out just by studying her reactions. which, was a little accurate. blake was pretty good at reading other people, at least he usually was. "it's a little... childish, don't you think?"

"Okay, well there are psychopaths out there. I listen to true crime." Eventually, she'd love being an investigative journalist, but instead she was stuck doing a stupid gossip column in an online paper nobody seemed to read. "I'm not a virgin." Izzy shifted uncomfortably as he squinted in her direction. "I just know way more about her sex life than I care to know. Did you know she actually hooks up with random people in my room sometimes when I'm not here? Wait. She said round three. That means you did it multiple times before she left. You didn't happen to...well...if you did it in a bedroom, it wasn't clean was it?" Her roommate's room tended to have piles of clothes everywhere and dishes on the night stand. Meanwhile, Izzy's room was kept tidy and was decorated in shades of cream and sage green.

her non-answer was enough of an answer for him and he immediately began to spin out in panic. his eyes went wide, mouth went dry. "seriously, alice?" his gaze was moving quickly between her and her son and at least he had the sense of mind to try and stay calm in front of such a young boy. hudson offered him a smile that turned out to be more of a grimace. "it doesn't matter if you had a secret baby that also happens to be my kid? is that really how you want to play this?" he can't help but roll his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest. "be real with me for one fucking second."

Her jaw clenched as he called her Alice. There was nothing she hated more than the use of her full name. "It wasn't a secret baby, Hudson. I didn't hide my pregnancy. I moved before I found out." She was doing her best to keep her tone calm. "Also how do we even know you're the dad?" Her voice was hushed. "It's not like we were exclusive." Taking a deep breath, Allie closed her eyes for a second. "Can we have a conversation about this later? Maybe when I don't have my son with me?"

harvey wanted to investigate further, get a glimpse inside her head, but his head hurt. he leaned against the headrest, eyes closed. maybe later he would read the titles and satiate his curiosity, learn more about the woman he'd had his eye on for weeks. it was nice that, now that she was available, his interest hadn't waned at all. he'd wondered if he was drawn to her, in part, due to the forbiddeness of his attraction, but jack was out of the picture and he still found her just as interesting as he did an hour ago. maybe he wasn't such a fickle thing. "whatever keeps you busy." he glanced over at her, happened to catch her stealing a look as well, making him smile. "i can't remember the last time i read a book. i can't seem to sit still long enough to try." he gave a little shrug as if apologetic. "what's your favorite book, right now?"

This was the first time that she'd been dating someone and found her attention pulled elsewhere. But she believed in destiny. Maybe she was supposed to date Jack so she could meet Harvey. Alex shook the thought from her head. She was fresh off of a breakup; she should be feeling...sad, right? Not excited at the thought of spending tie with Harvey. "You could always try audiobooks?" She suggested. "I mean, if that's something you're interested in. I know reading isn't for everybody." Her siblings weren't fans; it seemed to be a hobby she shared with only her dad. "Oh...um...I really liked The Song of the Marked. It's the first book in a fantasy series."

"Oh, I wasn't?" Madison smirked, raising an eyebrow. "The way you haven't talked to me normally after that night would prove me correct, I think." The kiss had sparked something within her. She thought it was just something fun to do when she first did it. Kissing her best friend's brother, but it proved to be a bit more, and it had caught Madison completely off guard. "I guess the kiss sucked that bad, huh?" she asked, looking out of the window at the passing scenery.

He was silent for a moment. His sister would lose her shit if she found out that he'd kissed Madison all those years ago. That was one line that Finley knew he wasn't supposed to cross and he had. If she knew, there was no chance in hell that he would be driving Maddie across the country to her wedding; he didn't even know if he'd be invited. "It didn't suck," he finally said, not turning to look at her.

oh, he was too precious. she delighted in the way he lit up, knowing that it was all because of her. she liked to have control like that. "you tell me when and where and i'll be there. even if it's in an.. undesirable place." her nose wrinkled ever so slightly, showing her distaste as she remembered the type of venue he usually played in. there was a reason she hadn't gone to a single show yet. but things could always change. "well, there's no need to miss me anymore. i'm right here! and i'm all yours. anything you want from me is yours, i promise."

He was very easy to please. Much like a puppy, AJ was easily distracted and the second she promised to come to his show, he forgot all about how she'd cheated on him. "Yeah, I'll text it to you!" He knew he didn't play in places she particularly enjoyed going, but he was still just trying to make it. "Maybe we could go grab lunch at that one fancy place you like. How do you pronounce it again?"

"right. yeah. i mean, i've dated." oh, god, he probably sounded so weird, didn't he? no wonder women didn't spend a lot of time talking to him, he thought he came off so weird. "i've been on dates before. it doesn't seem to stick." gave another little shrug, not deprecating but close enough. his eyes widen when she swears, mouth opening a little in surprise. "oh, jeez." christian laughed a little, "i mean, you've been nothing but kind to me, so i don't know where they're getting that impression. unless you want to come off as a bitch, which is totally fine, you just... you seem very nice, is all."

"Yeah, I get that. Dating is hard." Most of the time, she had zero interest in making small talk and that was the thing about first dates. She wanted to know people's favorite books or movies. Whether they believed in aliens or cryptids. "Well, you haven't made me want to be a bitch. Yet," she teased. Lyra flashed him a smile; she couldn't remember the last time that anyone had called her nice.

"food sounds good." as if on cue, their stomach growled, reminding isa of how long it'd been since they last ate. if it wasn't for dawn, isa would probably waste away to nothing. dawn always took such good care of them, while isa was busy taking care of her annoying little brother. "just keep it simple. a sandwich is good." they tried to ignore the way that dawn's words made them feel. isa had said it in passing, a joke, but being agreed with so quickly - ugh. this feeling was annoying. and it was becoming all too familiar a feeling with dawn around. "careful. if my ego gets any bigger, i won't be able to fit in this room anymore." they laughed, trying to redirect their internal thoughts.

Cooking was Dawn's love language. She loved making food for the people she cared about, but there was no one she loved feeding more than Isa. "Alright. Make yourself comfortable." She moved towards her kitchen, pulling out the ingredients to make a sandwich. Of course, with Dawn it wasn't exactly simple. It might be just a sandwich, but she was soon back with something most places might charge an outrageous price for. "Oh please, there's always room for you here. Ego or not."

"i don't ever want you to doubt how much i like it, so we can kiss sober as much as you want," she responded, her voice sweet and more flirtatious than she expected from herself. she felt incredibly giddy, like it was the start to something perfect between them. delilah half-expected to wake up any moment to find out this was just some beautiful dream. as she stepped into luna's apartment, she beamed and immediately moved to plop down on the couch. "something random is fine. just put something on we've both seen a few times. i'm not sure i'll even be able to pay that much attention after everything," she admitted softly, deep blue eyes gazing up at her.

"Oh really?" With that, she leaned in to give the blonde another quick kiss. Luna had had a crush on Delilah forever but she'd never suspected that her best friend could feel the same way. Grabbing a couple of drinks for the both of them, she sat down on the couch next to her. She picked a rom-com they'd watched before. "Will you grab that blanket from next to you?"

"i promise i do, but it's a little bit hard for me to actually practice it," she responded with a playful grin. truthfully, bianca had been a bit of a troublemaker from a young age, but sometimes she did wish she left some of her thoughts in her mind and avoided too many confrontations. "yeah? you need some help?"

"Yeah, I definitely believe it," she teased. Viola wished she'd been more of a troublemaker. She was a good girl, through and through. It meant a lot of times she avoided confrontation when she shouldn't. Maybe that's why she was so drawn to Bianca. Color flooded her cheeks and she let out a shy laugh. "F-from you?"
