Introducing Love Like Yours ~ a week-long celebration of Arcana fan apprentices and their love interests.

No one relationship is just like yours, and this fan festival is an open celebration of MC’s and the people who love them. Whether you write fic and headcanons, draw or create moodboards, even create cosplay or playlists; this event is a celebration of all the individual romances that make up The Arcana fandom.

WHO: Open to everyone, at any skill level. Revel in the romance between your MC and their favourite Arcana love interest(s). And you’re not restricted to the main six, side characters are also welcome, for all those who wish to woo Nahara, or get giggly over Valerius.

WHEN: May 17 - May 24th, 2020

WHAT: Create fan-works of your fan apprentice and their love interest. Write fanfic, draw artworks, make animatics or cosplays or playlists and more! Any form of artistic expression is welcome and encouraged. If you don’t feel like making anything, you can still join in by reblogging other fanworks and sharing the love!

Each day will have a theme; a small prompt to help spark your imagination.

17th: Start of Something New (Beginnings/Crushes: awkward hand touches, exchanged glances, remember when we first met) 18th: Caught Red Hearted (Caught: either caught feels or caught by others being romantic) 19th: Say It Like You Mean It (Confessions: both confessing too or accidentally admitting feels) 20th: Fiery Kind of Love (Passion and Fighting: argument leading to sex, If you die I will kick your ass) 21st: The Day to Day (Domestic: Soft, gentle prompts, flirty couple things. Like snuggling, hugs at breakfast etc) 22nd: Nothing Can Harm You (Protect: fighting for, comfort from nightmares etc) 23rd:Play it Again, Sam (Tropes: all ya favs. Only one bed, fake dating etc) 24th: Freestyle!  (Pick whatever you want! This day is up to you! )

Volta absolutely wants her humanity back, she was famished when she made her deal with the devil and he tricked her into making her believe life would be easier, but she has been nothing but miserable since she became a demon

when she gets her humanity back, she still eats a lot but she can actually fill her stomach, she isn't as hungry as she used to be

she is so grateful that you are with her, she becomes softer than before, and she feels extremely guilty for the things she did as a demon but she didn't have much of a choice

Valdemar

Oh, Valdemar has been gone for so long that they don't even remember what proper feelings and human emotions are

They, under no circumstances, want to become human again, for human are so very breakable

if they regain their humanity.... They're gonna freak out, the first feeling they remember is fear : they are terrified

They are weak now. What will happen to them ? Surely they will die, they cannot keep doing their experiments on patients as they actually can get ill too

They start remembering their past life but they shut it out, the memories are way too painful and they do not want that

Their personality doesn't change much, but since their looks changed, they are aware they're not as scary as they used to be

Their hair is the same dirty blond but their skin becomes a healthy tan, bronze color and their eyes are dark brown, almost black. The fangs are gone, replaced by normal, flat teeth

they'll cling to you and refuse to leave the dungeons without you

They hate this, they want to make new deals

If you plan to help them : Great. If you don't... well, they'll have to do it behind you back

Vulgora

Their eyes are a bit darker, looking more amber than pure yellow

they're still the same though. You can chase hell out of Vulgora but you can't chase rage

You'll need to carefully remind them that they're not as strong and untouchable as they used to be : they hate it, they want to set this world on fire

and no, they're not a swarm of beetles anymore

They want to FIGHT and they WILL

If you wanna help them you can tell them to see their new condition as a challenge, you train with them so they can get stronger, hopefully as much as they can as a human

turns out that after their time as a demon they can use magic ? You manage to teach them a few tricks and that makes them feel better, more powerful

as long as you're here to help them, they'll be fine

Vlastomil

He is wailing when you find him, hair gray and balding, his yellow eyes full of tears

he saw his Wyrm form as beautiful, perfect, the achievement of his life

upon losing said achievement he isn't exactly well

he doesn't feel bad for what he did, he was perfectly conscious of what he was doing but he is terrified of mortality

he is terrified of dying and leaving his worms behind, hell, he is terrified of leaving you behind

you'll have to ground him, act as an anchor, remind him that in your eyes he is still dear to you, demon or human, and that if he keeps worrying he'll go bald for real

This is just a sketch (my warmup for today), but here for you Anon ;)
