kinda stupid that I can only think abt these things normally during summer break bc that's when my thoughts abt me aren't overwritten by other bs. but I rly want to start going by a different name this break and looking into things like that etc etc. I've still been living as a "girl" up until this point. largely in the closet. everything's still up in the air bc I Cannot commit for the life of me. my friends and parents and brother already know but I have such a hard time taking the next step

I just get really nervous about it bc I'm not sure how everyone will respond (primarily some other ppl in my family, not sure if they would take nonbinary identities seriously). and if I can even put it into words for them correctly because I can't even do it in text just for myself. part of me still says it won't be worth it but on the other hand I feel like I'd just be so much more comfortable in my skin being what I actually feel like I am

I want to say I can't be a "girl" forever but another part of me wants to say that I can. so I just end up procrastinating infinitely
