okay but another thing about Lisa is that like. yes she. has insanely bad taste inviting Dean in to live with her and all that but like. it’s not like we know they immediately started back into a relationship. he showed up on her doorstep made of grief with no direction. and she knows he’s saved her son’s life. she knows her son likes him. so what she really was above all else was welcoming. and like she’s kind and she tries to work with him. she’s honest, and she’s protective of Ben in any situation needs be. she can move on when he’s gone and so forth. but like. in the end he ends up stealing away her and her son’s memories. so in the end yes, it was a horrific decision, the death she witnessed, the kidnapping aside, because he was willing to do that, and she had let him get intertwined into her life before knowing that. but that’s still like. all on him. she was trust and she was welcoming and those aren’t bad things. like who she is is so significant it’s just erased. like it’s literally all about erasing all of that. she’s what Dean can’t have. she’s him losing control and letting himself have security and a family. but all of these things she did with knowledge too: she knew Dean’s life came with risks. But what she didn’t know was that Dean would be willing to hurt her.
