VFX study n3  220817, first water study I should have started with those, the shapes are a lot easier to animate than flames but at least now I know. I need to improve the overall spacing, the drop break looks a tad "sticky" to me  My studies are still fueled by tea and Quentin Cordonnier's gumroad

VFX study n2 Understood a few additional notions since last time, and attempted a bit of compositing on CSP. 220812 I'm still struggling (especially with the inner flame, which I really didn't expect to be complicated to do), but I think it has improved a bit :) (My studies are still fueled by caffeine and Quentin Cordonnier's Gumroad)

I decided to start focusing on VFX animation. Here’s my  first attempt, a flame following Quentin Cordonnier's tutorial. 220809 I can see there are many issues with it but want to post it anyway to keep track of my progress. CSP is pretty okay for animation, it's not as streamlined as Harmony of course but for the price it's pretty amazing. I'll try another loop soon but starting with much simpler blobs, and hope it works better, please look forward to it :)

Dragon Age is one of the franchises held very dear to my heart, and Dorian truly is a gem. Such an easygoing attitude and such a great potential friend to the Inquisitor, you just can’t not like the man.
