Bought new dresses for the girls

Just as I suspected, 8x10mm cabochons are the perfect size - no gap between the eyes and the eyelids.

However, they're too perfectly fit. Even a slight hand jitter could misalign the cabochon - you could see the cabochon edge from the outside of the eye socket.

A bit sticky tack should keep the cabochon in place. I also discovered infinite iris hack by just not gluing the iris cut-out to the cabochon.

Would have been cool if there are 10x12mm cabochons but alas, the world is not perfect.

Anyway look at the cute hair stick I bought for my Bonnie. I wanted a sakura flowers hair stick too but the package would take too long to arrive before I move

The cabochons I bought are 14mm x 10mm

I think the iris would look better at 7mm or 6mm in diameter instead. 8mm looks fine for it's a bit too big for me

The cabochon fits. But because the eye holes sunk in (??? Idk how to describe it) twice, there's a gap between the eye and the outer faceplate. It's hard to capture on camera or video. I'll order 10mm x 8mm cabochons to test if they fits better

Yes, I made the ears and tail. They're made with type 2 air dry clay from Thailand. When dry, they turn into a hard solid - a bit translucent and off white. they're resistant to scratch, dent and water (for a small amount of time when fully dried)

Sidenote: Thailand air dry clay has 3 types:

Type 1 when dry is foam-like, lightweight, soft, bouncy, bendy, easy to tear apart

Type 2 when dry is dense, easy to break when bend, hard like plastic. Usually used to make diy fridge magnets, key charms,...

Type 3 when dry is flexible and can be really thin. Mostly used to make air dry clay flowers, figurines dress,...

The magnets size is 5 millimeters in diameter x 2 millimeters in thickness.

They're perfect fits for the head but too small for the feet. So I filled the feet holes with glue, wait til it harden then add more glue then added the magnets. It works but the magnets might sunk into the feet holes (ignore the stain inside... I really wanted the blue hair Bonnie)

Uneven feet magnets aren't that big of a deal. However, make sure all the head magnets are in the same directions so you can swap accessories placements.

For the tail, I just glued one magnets on (uhu glue)
