there is and is not power in words. today, like any other day, words have escaped my ability to understand their true meaning. the rubble left of a life isn’t quite as impressionable as the remnant geology of a mountain, once a volcano, and before the sea floor. i’m stuck between life and a hard place, existing, feeling, and ultimately nothing.

A new wave, energized by a new photographic machine.

Riding bikes like this with coworkers you enjoy hanging out with makes for a damn fine job. The inaugural Dirty 30 went off without a hitch. We made it 30 miles southwest from Tie Siding, Wyoming to the foot of Bull Mountain for a single night of bikepacking adventure. It was windy, but once settled in it became less of an obstacle and more a part of the experience that is dirt road touring across the high plains. Next up: Boulder > Rollins Pass > Granby.
