Finally got to try Rainer BBQ's hand shredded water spinach topped with sautéed beef as featured on Anthony Bourdain's The Layover. It is served with anchovy sauce, which includes different spices, pineapple, garlic & red chili peppers. It definitely did not disappoint! Finally got to catch up with my lovely @viviliciouss at Bakery Nouveau over lattes, a chocolate mousse dome & the bakery's famous Twice Baked Almond Croissant. The mousse was light & creamy; the croissant was the most delicious croissant I've had. The selection of pastries there are amazing. I baked an apple pie & brought it to make neighbors a few weeks ago. Today, I came home to a cute little box waiting at the doorsteps filled with homemade raspberry cupcakes from my neighbors. The note says, "PS Linda, that pie was SO good. We still talk about it. Thanks!" Hehe, so cute. Is this what neighbors were like back then?!
