So I'll be taking a little Hiatus!
I know this was already evident by how quiet my blog has been. But I felt it was only fair to actually be vocal for once. My time currently is focused on my full time job, commissions. And travel plans. I wont be gone long I certainly hope. My plan is to return in May with the conclusion of the Mayoral Campaign. I hope to improve as an artist till then.
Thank you for your continued support!

Lilypad loves holidays! And now that sheâs able to make new friends, sheâs going to gather some heart shaped gifts to give to her friends! Picking plants is easy with the help of magical little bugs!Â

Lilypad sits on the bank and lifts her tail, feeling the scales as she loses herself in thought. "Oh, are you asking about my big friend? They're so tall! And I feel like, I dont know. I GET them, more than I get some other towns folk... I wonder if there are more humans like them. I like their green skin, and their big dark eyes. They're so nice!"

Sebastian and I? Yeah, weâre like, best bros

Lilypad runs the tips of her fingers through her hair as she speaks. "She's so.. brightly colored! Red like the sunlight, its easy to see her. I like her fuzz clothes, she looks nice in them- I'm sort of envious. It's hard for me to wear clothes. I like her hands too, they're so slender and she paints her nails some times."

I'm getting ready for work and will be responding to rps. Dont forget there is a Rasmodius starter now!!
"Greetings, I am 166. I have recently come to the realization that you are my neighbor, and desired to greet you. I'm...Not really knowledgeable...or fond...of water, but I have brought you this introductory basket that I hope will suit your tastes. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." The robot kneels carefully next to the shore, and softly pushes the basket close to the edge; It's full of boiled eggs, some cheese, and flowers. @redrockstate
Lilypad: âOh⌠Sorry, you should go! Rasmodius doesnât like me meeting the villagers.âRasmodius: âBe on your way, android, I donât need mortal attention drawn here,â
âThatâs two people this monthâŚIs it really that visible?â
Rasmodius scoffs gentle as he takes a seat at the pond's bank, setting down a basket holding books and paper amongst other things. "I am an esteemed scholar of the magical arts, my proficiency in the aura of natural things makes it more than obvious you're no human. Not to mention, over hearing your name '166' isnt exactly how one fits in, you should have a proper name if you're trying to live a proper life- if that is what you are attempting to do," before he could continue, Lily interrupted.
"You picked my name. Why not pick hers?" She asked innocently, scooting towards the basket eagerly and taking a large time with laminated pages out.
Rasmodius move hair from his daughter's face with a scoff of a laugh. "She takes the appearance of an adult. Whatever controls her can choose one,"

Rasmodius groans gently as he steps down the forest path. After his morning study with Lily he heaved on his cloak and set out on his daily errands. Checking on the fairy population, ensuring the consistency of the local slimes are healthy, leaving a gift or two for the junimos, thanking them for their care of the woods there. Now he sat in the open grass of a small field by town. He diligently took some samples of green onion and cat grass, taking a moment to take a daffodil as well, he would no doubt gift the flower to Lily before turning in the night, but he took a moment to rest and enjoy the peace and quiet he admired of the valley.

Today on Shio overworks herself: considering making another rp starter for rasmodius bc I'm thirsty
Lilypad sits quietly on the edge of her pond, watching the way the unsettled dirt dances around the water, casting shadow over the shimmer of her scales. The valley had been lively as of late, she knows Rasmodius had noticed just as well. The town's population was surging with a sudden amount of humans, their zeal for nature drawn out by their exhaustion of inner city life. Not that Lilypad would understand such, the forest has always been her home- the forest and Rasmodius. He seemed troubled, and spoke of theories during her reading hours, of perhaps something drawing them there- something magical. She remembered questioning him on the possiblilty that some of them could be friendly enough to talk about it, that maybe even she could- but he stubbornly denied the thought of any of them coming near her. She knows his only goal was her safety, but the ponds water grew colder by the day when the only things you've to talk to are the fish you eat and the slimes that wander from the forest time to time. She doesnt even know what became of her birth family, she was lonely. She hid as she was told when humans were foraging around her home but she grew curious, and she toiled over what a liar she had been in the few people she had started meeting. She thought of the ones she had spied from her waters so far, mindlessly braiding reeds as she did so, quite blissfully unaware of her surroundings as she braided away.
Thea walked mindlessly through the forest, exploring the new area and hunting for foragables to sell. She had never really gone outside much back in the city, so being able to wander through a whole forest was an entirely new and exciting feeling. Earlier in the day she had seen a strange tower in the distance, and being full of this new feeling of adventure, decided to see what it was. But as she was walking along the river, something very peculiar caught her eye. What is that? She thought. It looked strange, not like any fish or bird she had seen before. She blinked, almost expecting the strange creature to disappear, but it didnât. She hesitantly moved closer to it, trying to get a better view. It looked like- a girl? She shook her head. Thatâs silly! She thought. But as she looked closer, she realized it was something else. Suddenly, she let out a loud yelp, losing her footing and falling into the pond. I donât know how to swim- Thea panicked as her mind filled with feelings of helplessness and dread. She frantically started splashing in the water, trying to get her face above water to call for help, but to no avail.
Lilypad jumps to attention at the sound of something or- someone yelping as they fall into the water. She's shaken by an anxious fear for a moment, but she collects herself enough to see the struggling creature in the water. With a soft gasp, she dives into the muddy pond, pushing herself forward and lifting the stranger up, wading with his strong tail until they reach the bank. She lays them out and looks over the human with a distinct curiosity, "What were you doing..?"
She has a valentine for youuuu (phone doodles)

Uidelsib was whistling as they strolled back from the Wizardâs tower, keen on joining their spouse back, when a strange glimmer overtook their vision. Kind of reminescent of the magical brew the old purple haired man had fed them, the effect was dizzying. When they blinked themselves into better composure, they had dangerously neared the pondâs borders, and the air felt off- as if it wasnât quite the Valley they had grown to love and live in anymore. Arms still full of future presents for the townfolks, thankfully none of them had fallen, in their strange faintness. Namely, a stack of still lukewarm Blueberry Tarts whose scent still wafted off their basket- theyâd been a bit overzealous with their baking.
But once they had fully regained their bearings, another disctinct smell attracted their attention, to right below their nose, among the plants lining the pondâs bank. Fishlike, yet much more entrancing, and with a wisp of flowers; a catch of light got their attention finally, to a long finned tail, that led to a gentle looking face.
A siren? This would not be out of character, with this valley.
âWhy, hello there.â Still stunned from the mystical shenanigans, they wobbled, but hopefully their smile didnât look too much like a grimace.
Lilypad jolted at the sudden voice of a stranger. Within a moment, the aquatic fae was slipping back into murky pong water, no doubt sending a good splash of water the strangerâs way. Once she had overcome the shock, Lilypad looks back towards the surface of the water curiously. Was that.. a person?
The cheerful fishâs curiosity claimed her, and within a moment, bright yellow eyes were peering from the water at the newcomer. It was them..! The farmer that Rasmodius invited over! They reeked of alchemical magics, did Rasmodius offer them an elixir..? She was slow to speak, wondering if her father was watching and if it would upset him. âHello⌠you just came from the tower didnât you? Youâre new arenât you? Or are you? I think perhaps Iâve seen you, or have I? Are you working with forest fae? Thatâs why you came over right?â The fish began to ramble eagerly as soon as the discomfort of fear was gone.
The spray of water does good on dispelling the last of their confused thoughts, as much as the following rapid-fire of questions have got them blinking rapidly in an effort to keep up. Such a vibrant character! This only confirm their suspicions; had this spirited pond dweller lived in their world, they would definitely know it.
Readjusting their now dripping glasses, they gingerly kneel as close as possible to the water, put aside their to-be gifts, and start talking. âWhy yes, I just about pampered Rasmy over there with my lastest gems, and um, new? Not quite so, I would rather say, to this valley, most definitely, but back home in my Stardewâs, Iâve been here for four years, now.â They first snicker, mentioning the grouchy wizard, then smile tenderly at the recollection of their stay here- or there, rather. âIf youâve seen me, Iâve never had the chance to catch you doing so, and if you speak of Juminos and the occasional pixie, I do work with them, but⌠I donât think Iâm here out of my own volution, no.â They watch around, slightly troubled. All is different to feel, and yet, not to see.
âDid you summon me? And what would your name be, sweet one?â They extend a tentative hand, not wanting to impose.
Lilypad's tail swayed gently in in the water behind her, splashing now and then from the way she waded in the shallow bank water. She pushed herself up closer to the quite confusing stranger, tilting her head. "From.. yours? Do you wield magic like my father...? I don't know how to summon things, I'm still just learning alchemical potion recipes." As she speaks she takes and inspects the other's hand, comparing theirs to Rasmodius in her mind. "My name is Lilypad."
