Individual doll heads; These are the first three I painted, to experiment with different textures and ways of approaching making the same object look different multiple times.

Polyurethane resin cast of a doll head, used for the Bluebeards Castle set dress.Â
Using the same process used for the the resin biscuit food prop, I cast a walnut to practice further painting techniques. The texture of the cast was an advantage in creating a realistic finish, and similar painting techniques used on the biscuit where used here. More washes were needed however, to produce a natural looking colour. The last image is my finished prop against a real walnut. Guess which one the fake is!Â

The process we used for this was fairly straight forward, and produced very realistic looking replicas! Painting he resin cast to look realistic was the most challenging part, but through use of washes, layers and dry brushing I achieve a finish I was happy with.Â

Lighting project; calico, chair and light.Â
Experimental cloak, made as part of the fashion rotation of my college work, a few years ago. This was before I was sewing properly, but was supposed to symbolise journey and the hardships along the way. It would be interesting to redo the theme of this project with the costume skills I have now and see what I could make?

Captain Rose; One of the two faun’s I’ve designed. I could only take photos on my phone, hence the awful image quality ¬¬ This is the first time I’ve drawn from imagination in a really long time, so I’m actually really pleased! Might put her in a comic at some point, would be pretty nice to make some cool backstory for her one day??
