Isabel has to survive the apocalypse brought down to her campus, finding herself following her father's motto "Kill or be killed". The conflict of trying not to become like him only aggravates when she's forced to kill her zombified familiar faces to ensure her own survival. Will she manage to claw out of this the same person or will she lose her humanity just like him?

While trying to redeem himself when offered the opportunity to work for the BSAA in exchange for a short leash after years of solitary confinement, Lars comes to his daughter's rescue when Tall Oak's Ivy University is attacked. He must balance his go-to apathy towards others with making sure she doesn't become numb to the violence like he did while also later on trying to prove his own personal change for the better to his team after fumbling in Edonia or risk going back behind bars.
