Tower of Baa-Goat,
Built by Dave and Marcia Johnson, this unique 31-foot structure was designed as a playground for their goats to climb, explore, and relax.
Constructed with over 5,000 bricks and featuring 276 spiral steps, the tower allows the animals to wander upward, rest on the circular platforms, and peek out from cozy compartments inside.
The idea came after the couple spotted a similar goat tower in a wine magazine. What started as inspiration turned into one of America's most unusual and charming animal attractions.

Everything that isn't food is a cat from the perspective of a cat. Cats can look upon the true form of eldritch monstrosities and keep their sanity. They'd just see another cat. A fucking weird-looking cat, but a cat nonetheless.

itâs not weird to find fanfiction from 2021, or 2017, or 2014 that youâve never read and actually taking your time to read it.
itâs not weird to love it and comment and leave kudos because the author will probably still see it someday and it will make them happy.
itâs not weird to like said authorâs work so much that you want to go look for other fics from them.
itâs not weird to go through the authors profile and look for other fics from the ships you like (or maybe some that youâll give a chance because you liked the author) and maybe bookmark them for later.
itâs not weird to read these other fics and like them too and comment on them because you actually like them and you want to let the author know.
itâs not weird to read fanfiction from 5, or 8, or 10 years ago and actually enjoy and engage with it because itâs perfectly normal to relate to something thatâs less than a decade old!
letâs stop treating fanfiction like theyâre instagram posts that stop being interesting in 24 hours! fanfiction is NOT social media, fanfiction is art!!! and art doesnât get old in one day, one year, or even a decade!
read fanfiction! write fanfiction! comment on fanfiction! letâs not let fanculture die people!!!!!

the reason that wounds that break the skin hurt is because its always supposed to be dark inside your body and when your blood sees sunlight for the first time it gets scared. and that causes the pain. or maybe it doesnt
anyone else notice how when "digital assistants" were just supposed to do specific tasks when you asked for them we had Alexa and Siri and Cortana, but now that they're being marketed as smart enough to take actions and make decisions on their own they've got names like Claude and Devin
This is a very serious book but ma'am

Funny how that works
I am so pleased at how many notes are some version of âI donât fear the science, I fear the corporations who control itâ because that is EXACTLY the attitude you should have. GMOs can save us. Monsanto will kill us.
what people fear about GMO- âtheyre gonna make frankencarrots that crave human flesh and cause diarrhea â what GMO actually is- âwe made rice crop that is both drought resistant and flood resistant which will prevent about 20% of major famine disasters, also it now makes vitamin A because vitamin A deficiency in poverty stricken areas is a major killer of kids as most vitamin A rich foods dont grow thereâ what people SHOULD be upset about- âi made all crops sterile so all farmers have to buy the seed from me in perpetuity and i will sue anyone who tries to go back to crops that produce their own seedâ
Thatâs it exactly. GMO is great ciant corporations can go straight to hell
Day 4 of Englandâs heatwave. I havenât slept in days. Going outside for one hour gave me a sunburn (And I wish that was a joke, I have the skin of a vampire). The candle on my altar to Mother Hecate is melting even though I havenât lit it today, and the milk I poured out for Hades and Persephone as an offering last night turned to cheese today. I may not survive this summer.
To everyone still using generative AI, I blame you for this.
imagine an edit. with that audio âkings have honor, soldiers have bravery, and poets have heart/but all i have is rage.â and itâs nezha, altan, kitay, and rin. wouldnât that be great.
i donât have the skills to make this but hereâs to hoping someone does. please.
How to sleep when it's too hot.
Alright. As someone who has thermoregulation issues due to chronic illness + whose living situation currently is not heat friendly, hereâs my favorite heat wave survival sleeping tips. Not saying it will work for everyone at all times but may or may not be worth considering depending on your situation. (Of course take into account any medical safety that may pertain to you specifically)
1. Proper use of fans.
Fans are often not used to their fullest potential.
To cool yourself, youâll want to turn the airflow towards you. Well obviously, vroom, I can hear you say. But actually not so obviously, stay with me. This works by helping the sweat evaporates off your skin which is the bodyâs main heat-thermoregulating system.
That is useful if everything is too hot anyway and youâre just displacing hot air to feel cooler. However, if itâs, say, nighttime and the air outside is cooler than inside or if your room is very hot but the air in the hallway is cooler, you will want to point your fan towards the cooler air from the hotter room.
As in, put the fan in the overheating room, facing, for example, the open window and blow the hot air out instead of trying to blow the cool air in. It works way better to bring the temperature down inside, promise.
For example, my current sleeping situation is : my bed is on top of a mezzanine under the roof with no skylight window. Heat rises so it gets VERY hot up there (like above 30°C). At night I open the window under the mezzanine and instead of moving hot air around up there, I push the hot air out which pulls the cool air up.
Same thing works in front of a window, if the air outside is cooler than the inside, the hot air being pushed out will bring more cool air in.
2. Cooling yourself down before going to bed.
We struggle to sleep when it's too hot because the body needs to drop its temperature to fall asleep.
Very cold showers / baths feel good but they make it worse.
Cold makes your blood vessels constrict, which means less blood to the surface of your skin, which means you're not cooling to your core. It basically makes the surface or your body very cold and traps all the heat under it inside.
Itâs better to take a cool or lukewarm shower to cool your body down. Ideally take your time with it to not just superficially cool your skin but truly lower your core temperature. Like several minutes.
If the air where you live isnât too humid, you can also wet a t-shirt in cool water and wear it (or wet a towel and put it on your skin), especially in front of a fan, to cool your body down before bed if you don't want to or can't take a shower.
3. How to fall asleep.
Your room is about as cool as it can be and you've taken your lukewarm shower but once you go to bed you don't fall asleep instantly and get hot again and can't sleep? Here's my ultimate tip.
Take a cold pack or freeze a small bottle of water, wrap it in a towel (never put the ice directly in contact with your skin! you can injure yourself) and hold it between your upper thighs. I personally use an ice pack with the provided cover and wrap it around one of my thighs using the strap.
Why ? Because in your thighs, near your groin, are the femoral arteries. And you're essentially using them as a hydraulic cooling system for your body.
It will help keep your body cool and help you fall asleep.
Good luck!

Whenever they gave us one of those "read through ALL the instructions before you begin!" trick assignments in school where the steps lead you on an increasingly ridiculous goose chase until the final one tells you to just put your name on the paper and turn it in without doing anything else, I was always like, "Okay, but what's the point? Surely the REAL world won't be anything like this." And then I grew up and discovered that not only is the real world often exactly like that, some people won't even read the first line of the instructions even if they make perfect sense. And these people are called "co-workers"
