I won't stop tickling you until you wake up!

Right as he opened the door, he heard Lilynette begin to talk again.

“Tiger! I’m gonna take a bit lon—”

And then the sound of sobbing began. Great. It was just what he needed - waking up(which always annoyed him in general), and a sobbing girl. Something he wasn’t good at. Ggio couldn’t deal with people whatsoever, so this was just plain awkward for him.

As he walked out of the bedroom, he saw that the baby Amaya was nowhere in sight. Ah, the assignment ended today, didn’t it? That was good for Ggio, actually. It meant he got to go back to his dorm tonight, without worrying about another life aside from his. Another good thing for the Fraccion, was the fact that he didn’t get attached to the child. He didn’t exactly become attached to anything, on top of the fact that he knew the child wasn’t his, and it was going to disappear today.

Now the fun part. Dealing with an upset girl.

Ggio let out a quiet sigh as he walked over to the couch and took a seat. His golden eyes half closed from just waking up, he simply stared out in front of where he was sitting as he thought of a way to deal with this. Being the awkward one he was, he could only think of one way, and that would most likely result in him sounding careless, even if he truly didn’t care. 

Lilynette didn't turn to see him sit down on the couch. He was probably one of the partisapants who felt relieved. His dulled tone just backed up her assumption. SHe wasn't upset. He saw this as an assingment and that little girl with straight black hair as not his daughter. And he would be right-- it was just some spell the Headmaster had done most likely. Lilynette didn't have a reason to be mad, and she didn't want to dump this on the fraccion. She knew exactly how he acted when she asked him to be her partner. She just didn't know this was to come. And knowing how he acted, he wouldn't push her away. And she just wanted something to hold so her hands could feel strong again.

The green-haired arrancar calmed her breathing and slowly stood on two unreliable feet. She hadn't seen him sit down but she knew where he was. When you lived in a place for even a week you would still get accustomed to it. She still took the sheet with her. Pressing it under her eyes leaving it slightly damp on the edges. It would be a long shot, but he didn't lose his temper so easily. In one jolt her heart beat sped up again and the tears she stopped for only a moment came down again. She turned and sat next to him. Her hands wrapping again his chest as she buried her face in his neck. The sheet trailing behind her sat on her lap. Lilynette held on tightly. She didn't want him to disappear too, even if she knew he wouldn't. Even if she knew she wasn't anything special to him, he was the closet thing to her at the moment.

The moment Tier had assured him that Lilynette was alive and well it was as if a weight was suddenly lifted off his shoulders. Unconsciously he had looked all over the school, every corner bringing hope that perhaps a green mop of hair would jump on him and shake him wildly. Sleep finally overcame Starrk and his lids fell shut, his breathing regulated, the only movement in his room being the rise and fall of his chest for what seemed years.

A spray of cold water hit him square in the face, the weight of a meek girl on his chest wielding the gun that had woken him up. She slammed the plastic thing across his face and the sleepy Primera could just barely make up her words. He watched silently as the tears ran down her face which was broken apart with sorrow. Slowly, quietly, he raised his hand, not caring in the least he was covered in icy water. His gloved thumb brushed the tears away from her eyes the hand moving to the back of her head, patting it lightly, repeating those words he would whisper to her at night back in Las Noches when she woke up maddened by a flood of nightmares.

She wasn't alone.

She resembled a child but she was far from. But now she was crying like a child, the second time that weak she had let her self cry to her hearts content. His white gloves stained as he wiped away her tears. He wasn't her father not her brother. It was above even that. Lilynette moved away and didn't look straight. Her hands still in fists as she closed her eyelids slightly. Pouting and trying to calm down her rapid breathe as he consouled her saying the same thing he always did. The nightmares he used to have were passed down to her. But that was something was even proud of. Another thing he wouldn't have to deal with on top of her. Just a burden every time.
