T3h cookies I was talking about. creepy.

I showed Granny them and she even agrees. She made some weird side comment of how it reminded her of Gramps. I don’t think I wanna know what she meant by that, because it’s a creepy pervy look and I don’t wanna think of Gramps like that.... eww.

Okay, not so much of an update. Well, kinda. So I took a small break from working on cakes and started on cookies. Momma and I were lookin’ at recipes for cookies... These are the latest ones we saw on Pinterest here (https://www.hersheys.com/kitchens/en_us/recipes/no-bake-peanut-butter-blossom.html?pp=0&epik=dj0yJnU9c3lSY2EzdmZJQ0lMWWx3TEZEUHN4cXhXVDV2TnI5TkkmcD0xJm49Y1EtYzM0MTBsNXhXYjJxTHAtSmtXQSZ0PUFBQUFBRjgzTlhr) Soooo, I had found it on Pinterest originally, but it took me to the Hershey’s site. I thought it was interesting because, you guessed it, it’s a NO BAKE! I have probably only done one of these in my life with Momma. 

So my Granny I swear was part of the mob. Like there was this guy that was creeping around Granny and me. I think it was because he wanted some of the cake that I had made. Which I feel like if he had just gotten to know us better and made friends with us and asked, then ya know, we could have gotten him some cake. Like you could have smelled the cake wherever I had gone. Like, look at this picture of me one the way to Granny’s. … I was trying to test out this new selfie stick my momma gave me for my birthday the other month. 

My Granny is awesome and she’s wicked smart. There have been times where I go over to her place and she’s like this and like that... And I'm like, Granny, what have you not done? She told me she use to be in the military. I think she said that she was in the Air Force and that she still keeps in touch with some of them that she use to work in the Air Force with. I saw one of her friends the other week, but I didn’t realize who it was at the time. 

This is the book I was talking about.

The book he dropped was Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Table cookbook. It was a book that was always checked out, and I didn’t wanna go out and pay for the book; at least not just yet. My momma and I have been watching the show that she and her husband has.

A little about me ... so I live in the ‘urbs of Woodstockholm no relation to Woodstock, lol. I’ve been spending the past couple of Summers working on my cooking n baking skills. Fortunately my Granny has been brave enough to be my taste tester. I wanna use this place as a way to document my culinary journey. Wish me luck!
