Merry Christmas! Convinced Lilly to take my daughter for a ride in the fresh snow. 😂

All tuckered out from a little over night backpacking trip.

Just a happy girl chillin in the canoe on our two night river camping trip.

Lilly enjoyed Wildcat Canyon at Starved Rock State Park. It was a brutal Midwest day with heat in the 90s and high humidity. Luckily Lilly is never one to pass up a creek bed or small pond so she stayed rather cool.

Unicorns are real people.

When we are out camping. Lilly knows that the evening means the adults hang outside in the dark by the fire. When there is a perfectly soft and comfy bed inside the camper. Obviously she chooses to wait for us in the camper. I mean, that looks comfy right?! 😂

Solid morning work with the dog. Run to the local soccer park. Training on the fancy field (sit out of motion featured with a gorgeous sunrise in the background). Followed up with a stop at the Starbucks for a pupachino for her and a coffee for me and one to bring home to my wife.

Yesterday’s hilariousness.. Sky decided that Lilly needed to eat snow. Lilly agreed.

I know it’s been a while, sorry. The lovely Lilly is as lovely as ever.

Lilly and I ran in the 2017 Rig Rondy this weekend. Did two events back to back. 1.3 mile sprint cani-cross (canine cross country run... Lilly pulls me by a belt during a foot race) Run followed by the 1.3 mile sprint 1-dog bike-jor (Lilly pulls me on my mountain bike). We won first place in the run and third place in the bike event (had 20 minutes between events so the bike was slightly slower than what we could have done maybe). What a great little racer she is!

Sometimes you just gotta hit the beach for those sweet sweet sunrise vibes. Sometimes working GSDs just can’t enjoy the view and only maintain focus on you! Hahaha
