I imagine they end up finding each other a few years down the line and slowly rekindle. Egg likes the company. and Daeron likes a big tall handsome man.
he doesn't question anything about the reams and their potential correlation to the giant man who's been bedding him for weeks until his pregnant. and the bump keeps getting bigger. and bigger.... and bigger. they end up having to head to Summerhall cause Daeron can't be on the road anymore past his like. 4th moon. and he needs to be on bed rest.
and then he starts to feel the "oh fuck" feeling as his massive married-in-a-random-ass-sept-in-the-middle-of-buttfuck-nowhere husband helps move him from his sitting chair to his bed by just. lifting him. like a doll. and he realizes this dream is surely coming true and he is fucking horrified.
he's already pouting at his husband and asking why he let him do this to him (he's pulling Dunk to cuddle him and leaning into kisses, so Dunk isn't taking it too personally. he's frankly terrified of pregnancy by now, seeing how large Daeron has gotten in only a few months.)
but it's worth it when he has his 10 pound *little* girl (cause she's just his tiny itty bitty little precious baby), their little Baela, held in his arms after hours of labor. and Dunk is holding them both.
"never again, or I will maim you," and he's squeezing Dunk's probably broken hand.
"fair enough," he's just smiling at his daughter while his lips rest in Daeron's sweaty hair, offering his pinky to her.
and they lived happily ever after (they end up having a set of twins on accident like two years later, luckily taking after Daeron's size, Maekar and Aeria [he loved his little demon brother, sue him. he'll raise her to be sweet])
