in this essay I'll explain why Susie's assumption that Kris wanted to taste her hair too didn't come completely out of left field
the thing is, she wasn't really kidding (much) when she said this. She's been dealing with the struggle to not bite Kris's head for a long ass time, and it ain't easy
She nearly cracked at least one time
within seconds of entering Kris's house she made a beeline to their bathroom, with a much closer sink in range, specifically to drink their shampoo. that's how bad it is.
but despite the provocation (smelling good and always being in front of her) she's verbally committed, with justifiable pride, to not biting Kris. because they're friends.
this entire time Susie has been (mostly silently) dealing with the urge to bite Kris's head alone. it could hurt them. they might think she was weird. it could make their friendship weird.
so when Kris yanks her close while breathing hard and then doesn't seem to know how they got there, she's startled but not mad. she just assumes they've been dealing with the same struggle as her.
the urge to bite her hair. and they finally cracked. after all, they're both weird. they both do weird stuff in sync all the time. why wouldn't they also feel the same way about this?
with great patience and understanding, she tells them she gets it. she even finally admits outright to drinking their shampoo. and since they feel the same way, she lets them (bite her hair)
it's hard to tell because of the lighting but while her talk sprites are mischievous her actual sprite's expression is almost solemn. she's not alone. her feelings (Bite Hair) aren't weird, and now they can work through them together (and maybe she can also have a bite)
unfortunately her friend is Kris Dreemurr, Local Moment Ruiner, and they call her the dreaded W-word, totally embarrassing her during a moment of emotional vulnerability and actually making her mad. but can you blame her for hoping?
(don't take this post too seriously okay)
