Today I looked at old photos of us, and it made me sad.

Then I remembered: this is not sad. Letting you go is going to be the very best thing for you, and for myself. My heart will always hold a place for you, but this relationship is over, as it needs to be. And this is a happy, wonderful thing.. I'm happy for what we had and how much I've grown, and I hope you are, too. 

One step further on my path; wiser, better, stronger, and softer.

It's 1:31 a.m. and I've got paint on my knees

I feel good.

I slept for 11 hours last night. I'm not sure what it was. That's not normal for me. Maybe it's that I'm still getting over this cold or that I've been running on 4 hours of sleep each night 

Maybe it's because I feel like I've just let go of a huge chunk of myself

just chopped it off and let it drop away

Dead weight?

I feel much lighter now

It hurts, but I've got to stay light and on my feet.
