The shit is not just happening from fever fans like people like to claim either. It’s happening across the entire WNBA. Every time a player misses a game winner, turns the ball over, or costs somebody a parlay, the comments turn into a fucking cesspool dawg. Racist comments. Sexist comments. People calling players monkeys. Death threats. Slurs. It’s become so normalized that people just scroll past it like it’s part of the game.

And honestly if I wanna keep it a buck there also needs to be stronger moderation across official team and league pages. How is the league gonna promote building the players up and them getting recognition they deserve when they allow shit like this to happen

Shit is so weird. They not only claim they hate her but then talk about her 24/7, but they’re doing the exact same thing they say they’re against (spreading hate towards women athletes, hurtful comments, etc.).

It’s funny because they claim that cc is jealous and insecure over p but p came out and did an interview talking about how the comparisons affected her (which valid) but she’s able to grow from it and forge her own path. A lot of it seems to be projection from that fanbase. Paige and cc are also friends contrary to whatever psychotic stan wants to project lol, and no Paige ain’t going to fuck you for shitting on cc.

This is interesting, it’s not even the fans from reporters to media to players a lot of them really want to get her attention which is why they make crazy takes, headlines, and go out of their way to taunt/get away with being overly physical with her.

I think deep down they know she ain’t all the things they say she is, which frustrates them, it also frustrates them that she’s still wildly popular despite everything happening the last 3 years.
