You should be careful! Sometimes startled animals will bite even if they're otherwise well-trained. I heard the uncle of my friend's cousin's classmate got bitten like that.

Things we people do, like waiting, or restraining yourself, or talking about the problem: these solutions all need you to use your intelligence and your self-control. Animals donât have these things.
so instead, since theyâre not smart, they take the shortest path to âresolvingâ a âproblemâ :P
Distressed dogs might growl and bite! Distressed cats might flee or scratch! Distressed horses will bolt or kick!
they use their instinctual reactions, because they donât know any better
Thatâs why vets and animals handlers will tell you not to mess around with their animals. Veterinary practice and animal handling is highly skilled work! :)
