hey hi hello :] i finished season 1 of haikyuu!! i can’t even lie, i enjoyed this show a lot more than i thought that i would. at first, before watching it, i thought it would be pretty over hyped but i can understand now why people like it so much. the characters are really easy to fall in love with (Noya and Tanaka for example) and the show is overall really funny. i found myself feeling emotions similar to those the characters were feeling. when they won, i got excited, and when they lost, i felt it. i like that the creators weren’t afraid to make the team lose. i’m gonna start season 2 really soon (probably now) so i won’t post an update about starting it since i’m saying it here. will update again once i finish season 2 and/or i watch something else

not haikyuu related, but i watched Your Name last night. it was… interesting. i definitely enjoyed the story and i thought the overall idea was cute. for me it just got a little confusing at times. i am a sucker for typical romance anime shows/movies so this one was nice to watch. Taki and Mitsuha’s relationship and their way of messing with each other was really nice. i also LOVED how awkward it was between the friends and family every time they changed places. overall it was a cute movie and i liked it for the most part, and i think i would definitely watch it again

i sold my soul and i started watching haikyu!! i’m halfway through the first season, so this update is coming at you a bit late. i started it last night and i’ve actually been enjoying it a lot. i’ve heard mixed things from my friends, but it’s a really enjoyable show. i really like Kageyama and Sugawara because they both play the same position and yet they’re incredibly different. i think for this show i’ll update at the end of each season? so (at the rate i’m going) expect an end-of-season-one update very soon!

i finished sk8 the infinity! i enjoyed this show a lot more than i thought that i would. i finished the show pretty quickly (considering how long it normally takes me to finish an anime..). Langa is absolutely my favorite character, there’s no doubts in my mind. every beef that he participated in had me on edge the whole time. call it main character things. i loved being able to see how his friendship with Reki impacted him, because it’s very clear that Reki means a lot to him. i also saw on twitter that they announced another project for sk8 (hopefully season 2) , so i’m really looking forward to that. my love for Langa aside, this show was actually pretty funny. i don’t typically laugh at the jokes made when i watch anime, but this show got me to laugh a couple of times. most of those jokes were made by Miya, to be fair, but it was still really entertaining. i’d definitely recommend it, it was a really enjoyable show to watch the whole way through. though i do have to admit, i really disliked the parts where Reki was beating himself up over his skill compared to Langa’s. i’m satisfied with the resolution of his feelings though, so it didn’t bother me too much. as usual, i have no idea what i’m going to watch next. i’ll probably figure it out sometime soon. until then, bye!!

i started watching sk8 the infinity!! i’ve heard a lot of good things about this show from my friends, and i liked the first episode a lot more than i thought that i would. right now, my favorite is definitely Langa. he’s so awkward, it’s perfect. i also really like Cherry Blossom a lot. he behaves like he’s smart and confident, and i find that really appealing in characters. i’m really optimistic about this show and i think that i’ll like it a lot. i think i’ll have a lot of time to watch anime while i’m on vacation (rn) so expect a few updates to come soon! as usual, i’ll post again once i’ve finished :]

hi!! i’ve finally finished Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun. this show has got to be one of my all-time favorites. i am in love with the art style, the characters, the story, all of it. Hanako-kun and Yashiro are one of my favorite duos, their bond is one that reminds me of my relationship with my friends. very much a joking but protective connection, and it’s very nice to see. i absolutely recommend this show to anyone considering watching it, you will absolutely fall in love with it. i might not be as active posting since i’m visiting my grandma atm, but i’ll still try to keep you updated on what i’m watching. i might watch Avatar: The Last Airbender since i grew up watching it, but i don’t think i’ll post updates about it since it’s not technically anime. i might start more anime while i’m here, i just haven’t decided what yet! i’ll let you know <3

i started watching Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun! i got super interested in the show because of the art style, even though i still don’t 100% know what the show is about 0-0. i got it recommended to me a lot because of my friends, and it seems like something i’ll enjoy. Yashiro is absolutely adorable, and i love her personality so much. Hanako-kun is definitely an interesting character at first glance. he seems (honestly) like a teenage boy, so i think it’ll be fun to see how his relationship with Yashiro develops ^-^ i’ll update you when i finish the show!

okay hi! i've seen FMA Brotherhood as a recommendation a lot, so i'm definitely planning on watching it down the line. i've also heard of my hero academia and fruits baskets (and i actually planned on watching Fruits Baskets already) so those are familiar-ish to me. those sound really interesting though!! i'll definitely check them out <3 thank you so much for the recommendations :D

i enjoyed part 1, though my friends keep saying it doesn’t get good until part 3. i know he’s evil and an antagonist, but i like Dio a lot as a character. the ending of part 1 did make me sad, but we’ll see if my feelings change when i watch part 2. i think i might watch another short anime between parts, probably a 12 episode. i took forever to watch hxh and Jojo’s is another long series, so i figure it would be better for me to keep watching anime and not just putting it off because Jojo’s is taking me a while. so expect updates on multiple shows in the near future! i have some ideas for shows i want to watch/start, but i am always open to suggestions so don’t be afraid to recommend something :D i’ll probably start something tonight/tomorrow so you’ll get another update then.

i started watching Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure! my friends had been recommending this show to me for a really long time, and one of my friends actually made a game based around the show. my brothers also really like it, so i’ve known about Jojo’s for a while before i considered watching it. i’ve watched about two episodes at this point, and i really like it so far. my friends were not kidding when they said that all of the characters were attractive. because omg. i’ll update you when i finish part 1!

i finished Death Parade! it was surprisingly good. chiyuki was one of my favorite characters, probably because we were actually able to see emotion come from her character. i also found an appreciation for Decim and Ginti. i really liked the development that Decim had, because we really got to see the impact that Chiyuki had on him. the ending was sad, and i did shed a few tears. i’m sad the show got cancelled, but i understand why. there wasn’t really a concrete plot that they were following. it seemed like they started to develop one towards the end, but clearly, that never got the chance to pan out. i also find it difficult to imagine how the show would continue after the first season, simply based on how it ended. overall, i enjoyed myself when i watched it. and i’ve already started another show :D

hi again! i started watching Death Parade. so far, the idea for the show seems really good and i’m excited to see where it goes. however, the show did end up being cancelled so i’m a little worried that it won’t live up to my expectations. that really isn’t a big deal though, i’m going to follow through and watch the show regardless. i still know very little about the characters, but i can definitely say that i like Chiyuki. the way that she is able to read people is impressive imo, and she seems to be the most relatable character that we’ve met thus far. i’ll update again once i finish the show! <3

i got to watch Mugen Train last night! i was really excited to see it, because demon slayer is such a good show (and this movie was actually canon). i got so sad when Tanjiro went into his dream and he saw his family :(( cause i knew that eventually he’d have to wake up or realize that it wasn’t real, and that absolutely broke my heart. Rengoku was such a cool character too, and i’m so sad that we didn’t get to see more of him. his fire breathing forms were really impressive, and his fight with the upper three demon was amazing. i actually kept calling the upper three demon “Sakuna” because i thought it was funny, since the demon also had pink hair and body tattoos. i also started watching another anime, so i’ll make a post about that sometime soon.

hi!! i started watching Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai. i’m really excited about this show, because i’ve heard lots of good things from my friends, and the main characters seem so cute. the first episode starts out a little confusing, but it starts to make more sense towards the end, so that wasn’t much of an issue imo. i’ve only seen the first episode, so that’s really all i can talk about. i’ve been watching a bunch of short shows just so i can experience more genres, since i spent such a long time watching Hunter x Hunter and shounens in general. anyways, i’m really excited to watch this!!
