The wildfire burning just North of Sedona is not huge but very hard for crews to get to. It has caused many trails to be closed and today is another red flag warning. High winds and dry conditions have caused it to move down the slope towards the Dry Creek area. Only you can prevent forest fires, said the bear on tv back in the day.

In the news today, a tourist threw a lit cigarette into the brush at Out of Africa wildlife park here in Central Arizona. The results were as you would expect. Thankfully, Copper Canyon firehouse is right across the street. With dry lightning and trailer chains sparking, there is no need for additional fire sources. Or let's watch the West burn together.
