I thought ole boy was his own man, in control of his actions and could freely make his own choices? Miss Bucky Not Sam's Lapdog Barnes basically calling him Sam's lap and guard dog in one fell swoop to not make Bucky bitch ass guilty of that whole mess.

Because let's be very fucking clear, the only reason the Dora and Walker were in the room together at all is on Bucky. He knows very well their tolerance fer outright disrespect is minimal at best while Walker is disrespect personified. Had he not freed zemo without any communication to his supposed friends who lost their king due to Zemos own fucked up mission of revenge, they wouldn't have been on his ass. Then, Bucky freeing Zemo as the grand expert of the serum introduced the Flagsmashers existence to him and his murdering manservant. Heroes to their forcefully forgotten people, cowardly murdered from a distance while also killing GRC guards just trynna do their jobs. We've yet to see anything further on their deaths other than the job well done lean Zemo rewarded himself with upon hearing of his side missions completion.
