Unless Doom recruited people in the different teams as double agents, I think having a team of vilains would balance everything a little more.

But having 5/6 characters defect to join him would be interesting depending on who and why.

You know what I have suddenly realized? I heard of Doomsday and then Secret Wars but I have no idea what is going on in between these two releases.

There are canon ships I enjoy for what they are in the story.

There are canon ships I dislike for what they are in the story.

There are canon ships I have no idea what they bring to the story and it makes no sense for the characters. You can tell outside forces were at play and I simply can’t get behind it. And some of these ships not only don’t serve the characters but they also have ramifications on other characters and relationships because the writer needs to course correct shoot themselves in the foot with the options left.

Thought number 2 now that I have watched that Doomsday trailer

There’s only so many times I can see someone stop Thor’s hammer effortlessly before I am bored or annoyed.

At this point, the hammer means next to nothing.

Like… who cares if Steve can have it? You JUST SHOWS US that it will be useless anyway.

Also, this is a point I have seen people talk about a little but… Thor being front and center in this story makes little sense to me lol. Good for him I guess, at least I can expect him not being treated as a joke character.

Thoughts number 3 about the Doomsday trailer

I hope they use the XMen characters in a way that isn’t just fanservice. I want substance.

But so far, they seems to just be kinda there.

And speaking of someone who is just kinda there… my Dear Sam Wilson, I knew the joy of seeing you around and next to your ex? I am spoiled wouldn’t last.

By the trailer alone one would never know you are of any importance to the story. But you’ll stay important in my hurt, I mean, heart ❤️🥲

If Mystique goes against Yelena, I’m sorry but the blond wig will be on the floor fast. Yelena is good, but not on Mystique level lol

Also, I didn’t expect Thor to be the one giving the “stop the petty infighting” speech, I thought it would be Furry. And this is kinda weird to me because while Thor knows people, we kinda don’t see him have that much relationship with the majority of people apparently in the scene. We saw them share space but that’s it. So I fully guess now he’ll come to speak about the threat while the Novengers vs Sam and Joaquin will be having some words and so Thor will act as the nature one or something. Okay, cool cool cool.

MCU Steve and Bucky were never codependent, even in the past, and in the present day they are so not codependent that it’s laughable to hear people claim it. Steve knew Bucky was alive after TWS and went right on about his business being an Avenger, while his friend Sam, who didn’t know Bucky, went looking for him during his FREE TIME, not even all day day everyday, but when he could lol. Then, after CW, Steve dropped Bucky off in Wakanda and said deuces, and once again went on about his business. Y’all act like Steve was in Bucky’s space and face since the moment he found out he was still alive and he simply was not. They were besties in their youth, and Steve certainly didn’t want Bucky to be out in the cold suffering once he knew he was still kicking, but he was not obsessed with Bucky or attached to his hip. In the modern day, Steve was doing his own thing and Bucky was doing his own thing, and that’s okay to admit. As a matter of fact, y’all sound silly when you won’t admit it.

But I think we kinda don’t really establish for ourselves what positive traits we would bring in that relationship. Nor do we truly think about our negative aspects and how that impact what kind of person we “need” vs “want”.
