ryoga cried when his mom passed. like it was a good hard cry. and he cried in the days leading up to her death too. he is not good at expressing emotion but his mother is the one person he felt comfortable being completely honest with and not once in his life has she ever made fun of him for "not expressing emotion right" or "not being able to articulate himself properly". she was his biggest supporter, and in the end, thats something that he lost. :( so after she died he didnt really cry, ever again. he felt like all his tears dried up crying over her when she passed on. he still thinks of her. but he cant bring himself to cry anymore. half because he KNOWS if someone else saw him crying, he would be treated differently, like a weak animal. half because he feels like theres no point. crying wont bring her back, and he needs to say strong for her.

i love donating my things to the thrift and imagining who gets them next. becky could wear that to church!!! destiny will look cute in that!!!! sam is going to love it!!!!!! it makes me feel so happy !!!!!! we are all just little dots on a blue ball and i know everyone and no one at the same time !!!!!!!!!!

it is genuinely hilarious how the Hand Jumper fandom keeps collectively forgetting Doyeon Lee. every single time i see a "Lee family" edit or post it's ALWAYS Sara, Samin and Sayeon. it's like the exact opposite of when fandoms get really annoying about male characters to the point of overlooking the women. no one gaf about that man. he contributed a wee bit to the existence of his fab daughters and then died. their ma perished a bit later too but SHE'S constantly haunting the narrative so still seems to be extremely plot relevant. meanwhile the only thing i remember about him is that only two people cried at his funeral and his wife wasn't even one of them

The thing about Sayeon is that everyone in her family is objectively fucking cool but also not very good people so she’s been moralised against being cool
