I wonder if I did the right thing. If I really wasn't supposed to marry you... If I was meant to walk away and try my luck away from the comfort of your arms. You loved me in a way that reminds me everyday that I am worth love. Was that the love I was supposed to keep or learn from as I left it behind? I miss you still because you always were and always will be my best friend. I will always love you for teaching me that I deserve to have love and happiness. I won't ever forget you. I will think of you every time I feel loved, supported and unbelievably happy. You were my first great adventure that inspired me to leap further and trust my own heart. I was meant to walk away but your love will never leave me.

I look up to the sky sometimes in wonder... it feels like the clouds are moving too fast. Like the days of my life are flying past me as I stand there looking for some kind of idea on what to do... I want to pause it for just a second, breathe and start fresh. I'm ready to find a new adventure, to watch the sun set and rise again but with someone that would rather watch the colors reflect across my skin as I do the same... The sky doesn't stop moving just because someone wishes to slow it down and neither will I. I can't keep waiting for my big break to appear, I just have to create the opportunity by shedding my fears.

The girl in this picture has no idea who she will be in 5 years time or even a week, for that matter. Sometimes things don't turn out to be as bad as you think they will.
