Sierra's Glow-Up
Was going through some pictures today and was impressed by how my girl has changed since coming home!
Here's the photo I took of Sierra right after I test rode her at the seller's barn, back in November...
And here she is, eight months later...
I gotta say, my girl has really built up some muscle!
It wasn't like she was scrawny or anything before, but eight months of training and trail miles has really given her a shine! She looks so dang sleek! And she is STACKED. That quarter horse side really coming through, lol.
I actually sent the seller (who is friends with the breeder who bred Sierra) this second photo and the video of her at mounted shooting today, just to give her an update on how she's doing. And the first thing she remarked on was how fit Sierra looks!
I think it's safe to say we're doing things right by this horse!

You are real you can only be yourself and theres no moral weight to any identity over another
Liberal transphobes enjoy positioning trans identities as regressive compared to cis queerness or like non-transitioning transness or anything else they can leverage to make transphobia look progressive and I think its easy to absorb that message subconciously. But in real life we just are what we are and no ranking of validity can change the fact that you have an identity that is NOT chosen and is just your unchangeable truth. Not only should you not have to live a life dictated by what is most countercultural to identify as or whatever but also: being trans is extremely countercultural and feminist and leftist to begin with and theyre only trying to convince you otherwise bc theyre bigots

hi, filipino here. just want to say that our independence day is june 12, not july 4. july 4 is when the united states government decided that they would recognize our freedom, specifically because it is your independence day and they wanted to cement their cultural hegemony over our country. and because of their influence on our country this was recognized for a time as our independence day. we still commemorate it, but i hope you can understand why we don’t want our independence day to be associated so closely with our former colonizer. it wasn’t even a work holiday for us.
june 12 is the day that we filipinos declared our own independence for ourselves, and that is what we celebrate as independence day
