Tried to capture all the human moments.

The costumes were nothing short of amazing. This was day two of the festival, the parade.

I walked alone, an insane amount, up and down to find moments to capture, ate beer, drank hot dogs and ice cream.

We were over by Albany Bulb, in Albany, CA. You could see the Golden Gate Bridge well from this side of the east bay. I don't usually say this but the sunset was brilliant. After messing around with long exposures of melancholic young women staring out into the bay, and yappy dogs on the cold beach, we walked over to the bulb itself. I didn't have a tripod for the 20 second exposure, so I stacked rocks. Charles my friend, was painted over with light from my cellphone.

Feathers flew, someone got elbowed hard in the face the rest of us were gently bludgeoned over and over by strangers. It cost the city $5000 to sweep up the mess, totally worth it.
