So, my family member passed at the end of February. It took longer than hospice staff said it would, which made things complicated, but it wasn't out of the blue by any means. I don't do well with death, so I took a lot of time to myself to try and process with it while also dealing with stuff like funerals and cleaning out of personal belongings.

Family life is currently very tough still, but I think I've taken enough time to grieve and start working towards some level of normalcy again.

A Trip to Somewhere Special

From the Art Gallery to the Amusement Park, you're going to be going on a special date at a place that the two of you will love. Looking at jellyfish at the Aquarium, attending the symphony, petting bunnies at the Zoo's petting zoo, or checking out the brand new archeological exhibit at the Museum… no matter what it is, it’s something to make your eyes light up and so they can see that perfect smile of yours.

Basically, my family member in hospice has started contacting distant relatives and family who live out of state to tell them now’s the time to come visit ‘for the last time’. This was out of the blue and without any discussion, so… been dealing with that little surprise. :’)

I’ve got additional responsibilities on my plate at the moment because of these visits from other family members, and I really need to put my energy towards that and my own mental health. I don’t handle grief well, and it’s already pretty difficult with everything else that’s happened in my life the past month.

As of two days ago, My health has also had a little problem that I’m trying to juggle with my other responsibilities. My recent test results were not what me nor my doctor hoped for - it’s rough, I won’t lie!

Aside from just having a lot of knowledge about general info of the enstars cast and being a mushy little romantic, I try and keep in mind relationship dynamics I like as well as what the person I'm working on the match-up for wrote.

As weird as it might sound, I like to just think about each character's general role in relationships and can picture the things they'd like and enjoy about their partner(s). Like that's what I think about as I fall asleep each night lol

But, as I said previously, I also keep things such as Typology in mind... which leads to me looking at something I created.

Basically, I keep spreadsheets for my special interests - Enstars included. I organize all sorts of info just for fun, even if it's mostly useless, but I find it to be incredibly entertaining to do :)

But, specifically, on one page of my spreadsheet for Enstars, I built a little compatibility calculator inspired by Son's - going into further depth and with some different values.

(The example gif has my info in, just to show how it sort of works. Select what ages you'd want included, and what inputs to keep in mind when calculating the average percent.)

Most of the character info comes from PDB, which I happen to not be the biggest fan of for Typology, but I don't want to retype everyone myself until I'm more confident in my typing abilities. In general, it is a HEAVY wip, I want to add even more than what's in there already (Son's uses more Zodiac stuff, which I want to look into for sure!)

I use it more of a quick reference for certain information than as an actual 'calculator' or anything like that. Percentiles are subjective, plenty of resources disagree on who is more compatible with who - really, it's all for fun!

Nazuna wasn’t expecting to meet ‘someone’ at University… but lo and behold, he catches himself getting excited about going to the class he was blessed to share with you every week.

It all started when you ended up sitting next to him in one of his Gen Eds. A few weeks in, you noticed the mobile game he was playing, and it turned out you played too! Your friendship blossomed from there.

At first, you just chatted during class, discussing your favorite characters from the gacha game you both played.

You didn't seem to know too much about his idol career, or at least didn't make a big deal out of it, which was really refreshing. You started meeting up to get lunch before class, then walking in together.

As great as it was to spend more and more time with you... Nazuna wanted to see you more than just one time a week.

So he'd invite you over to his dorm under the excuse of 'studying', and eventually he got more comfortable just asking you to hang out whenever he was free.

He was the one to insist on getting your schedules for the future semesters figured out so that you’d share at least one class a week. Just so he can work on group projects with someone he knows is reliable- Y'know, since working with random people is a pain! That's all! Nothing more! (he is lying.)

The rest of Ra*bits were Nazuna’s cheerleaders when it came to him figuring out how to confess his feelings to you. He didn’t want to be too showy, or demanding… or just smother you with all of his feelings at once. He knows what it’s like to get out on a pedestal by the person who loves you.

He ended up waiting until after Valentine’s Day - Ra*bits had filmed a cooking show segment on making a few different chocolate flavored pastries, and he used those skills to prepare a little treat basket for you to give to you right before mid-terms.

In a note he included how appreciative he is on you and your constant support. He loves your company, is so grateful to have you as his friend, and wanted to let you know how he really feels. He’d accept your answer with no question.

To his delight, you felt similarly! After a quick talk about keeping your relationship secret from the media, you became a couple!

Of course, Nazuna’s lovely little rabbits all love you - once you were formally introduced. Some… more than others.

Hajime watches you like a hawk, and gave you the “If you make my Nii-chan upset, I’ll end you” look with a chilling smile on his face. You’re pretty sure he could crush you like a bug, but you don’t exactly plan on hurting the boy you love, anyways.

Oh, and Koppe… Nazuna melts watch you play and hold him. It’s two of his favorite things at the same time, and it really warms his heart to see that you get along so well with his precious baby. Koppe has started doing binkies when you come to visit him!

Study dates became a weekly occurrence, it gave the two of you private time to cuddle together while also being productive. Nazuna would apologize for not doing something more romantic, since he’s spread pretty think between his idol work and keeping up with homework.

You had a bad dream.

Or, well, bad only started to describe it. Abandonment, panic, true isolation and being helpless... it was overwhelming.

Your eyes open wide, sitting up as you gasp for air - heart pounding in your ears.

"Doll?" Mika mumbled, rubbing his eye sleepily as he too sat up.

You didn't think you had done anything that would wake him up, especially given the fact that you were pretty sure he couldn't even see you given his night blindness.

But Mika had a sixth sense for this sort of thing, he could tell when there was something wrong with the people he cared the most about. And he could tell you weren't okay.

Taking you into his arms without another moment to spare, he holds you close in hopes to soothe you.

"Shh..." Mika was used to comforting the other kids at the orphanage when they've had a nightmare - so he was used to this kind of thing.

"... Hey, yer okay." he whispered softly, rubbing your back in slow circles as you bury your face in his . "I gotcha, Darlin'... I'm right here. I gotcha."

He lets you take a few moments to catch your breath, his fingers running through your hair as he hummed.

As the minutes passed, the tension eased, and you finally feel calmer. When you pull back to look at him, Mika is smiling.

"There ya go..." His voice was so gentle, full of tenderness that he held for you. Mika presses a kiss to your forehead, "Ya wanna talk about it, Doll?"

You tell him a bit about your nightmare, all the while Mika held you. Once you felt ready to go back to sleep, you yawn and sigh.

"Ah- hold on."

He blindly pats to the side of his head, searching for something - one of his plushies, the cat one he fixed up with you recently.

"Even if I can't always be there to keep ya company when ya have those no good dreams... this lil' guy will be." Mika gently pressed the stuffed animal's face to your cheek, making a little kiss sound.

The rest of the night you slept peacefully, with Mika spooning you, and you holding onto the plushie.

I'd match you with Shu!

It’s definitely a slow burn, but once that fire starts it’s going to be impossible to put out. Even if you do something to absolutely infuriate him, he’ll be adamant on letting you know rather than ignore you or brush it off.

Music will definitely be the place your bond begins. He loves your creativity, especially in the various mediums that you enjoy, and the passion you have for music as a whole will spark that initial attraction. When hit with an idea that he can’t quite get out properly, he’s going to want to talk it out with you. Your varying perspectives will be more than enough for him to trust you with having a part in his creative process.

Given your similar need for time to develop a full relationship, things would progress slowly but surely. Museum trips for inspiration slowly start turning into dates, he’ll start to reach for to your hand when in a more populated areas, you might catch him looking at you more than the art.

You click your tongue at him, "I told you not to move! Do you want your eyeliner to be smudged?"

"... Isn't that what it's supposed to look like, though?" Rinne cocked his head to the side, smirking.

Looking back to the reference photo from the Helter-Spider performance, you frown. "What? No. That's the eyeshadow."

"Riiight..." Rinne rolled his eyes before he adjusted his seated position - wanting to get a little more comfortable so he could stay still. However, a thought had been nagging in the back of his head ever since he asked you for help on this look. "... Ugh, you'd think after me comin' here and workin' so hard to be an idol I'd get used to all of the beauty product stuff, but there's something about it that just doesn't click with me."

You offer him a reassuring smile, "It's not everyone's forte! It just takes practice, like everything else does. You already have the basics down... drawing a whole spiderweb on your own face can be a little tricky. I don't think you should be embarrassed."

Rinne opened his mouth for a moment, then promptly closed it again - his cheeks heating up as you got close to his face.

Ever so gently, you take his head in your hand, caressing his cheek before tilting it to the side. "Close your eyes for me?"

"Perfect... Good boy," You coo, uncapping your eyeliner pen and beginning to draw over his eyelid.

A small, flustered grumble manages to slip out of Rinne's lips, but he manages to stay still and let you do your work. After the first few strokes, he seems to relax a bit further.

Rinne would never openly admit this, but... he really does like getting this kind of pampering from you. Your expertise when it comes to make-up, having so much personal attention just on him, and the feeling of your hand cradling his jaw... it's all so soothing.

"You know what, Rinne?" You start, smiling at his tranquil looking face.

"... You know that I don't, Doll." Rinne replied, a small smile growing on his lips. "Other than... you love me?"

You chuckle, "Close." you whisper into his ear, playfully blowing on it. "I’m always thinking about that… What I actually was thinking was that I hope you never get better at applying your own makeup."

Rinne's eyes shoot open, his face turning a bright red from your teasing. "Huh?! The hell are you talkin' about?!"

“Well,” You give him a cheeky smile, kissing his cheek, "That way... whenever Crazy:B’s makeup artist cancels, I get to get up close and personal with the man I love."

Absolutely scandalized, Rinne nearly falls out of his chair, covering his cheek with his hand. "H-Hey! That’s playing dirty! No k-"

"No kissing before marriage? Yeah, yeah... you've said it before. Though..." You put the cap back onto your eyeliner and placed it on the counter. "I don't recall you complaining about my kisses last night..."

As you often enjoy doing, you had invited Rinne out to go on a shopping date. The two of you always have a good time together, trying on outfits and looking through all sorts of stores just to windowshop.

One of the (many, many...) things you love about Rinne is that he never shies away from showing what he likes, and what he wants. Whenever you see something catch his eye, you take little mental notes for future gifts. Rinne’s always in charge of carrying the bags on these little shopping dates of yours, but it’s a small price to pay for all the gifts you end up treating him to.

Just then, a wave of dizziness hits you, causing you to stumble forward for a moment before you catch yourself. “Ugh…” You cover your eyes with you palm for a moment – hoping the light-headed feeling will pass… even though you know it won’t. You seem to be having the start of a fainting spell.

“You doing okay, Doll?” Rinne asked, noticing your wobbly stance.

“Yeah, yeah… just a little clumsy – you know me! Too busy looking at my handsome boyfriend…” You fib, not wanting to cause him any concern.

Before you stumble again, your knees buckling, Rinne quickly reaches out to hold you upright. “You sure you’re doing okay, Doll?” he asked, concern reflected in his gaze.

You hesitate, not exactly sure if you want to tell Rinne the truth… it’d end your date early. Still, you’re in no condition to keep walking, especially not in the hot sun. “I… um…” you begin, embarrassment starting to settle in.

Not letting you continue, Rinne effortlessly lifts you up into his arms. “Y’know what, Doll? I decided I’m bored with shopping. Let’s head back to Niki’s and see if we can raid his fridge.” he winked at you, grinning.

As Rinne carried you through ES, you couldn’t help but feel a mix of embarrassment and warmth. With your head resting against his chest, you could hear the steady beat of his heart.
