CV$ tips
So fun fact I work at cv$ and boy lemme tell ya. You do things right and you could take half the store. So here are some tips I can tell you from working there a year and a halfÂ
*** please note that of course this varies by location and states in regards to lp and laws about chasing and who can lay hands on you. And every store has a different amount of cameras and a different layout. It would be in your best interest to go to a store in a â"niceââ neighborhood
LPđ¨đ¨
- as far as lp goes, thereâs almost never anybody in the store from lp or corporate unless of course itâs predictably busy. My particular store is near a stadium so when they were going to the championships, we had lp and police stationed inside the store to stop ppl from walking out with beer.Â
- if there is lp, they will be plain clothes
-cameras are not monitored unless youâre being sus, but even then itâs more likely that the manager will follow you around
- we have a no chase policy but Iâve literally seen some manager ignore this and go after them in the parking lot. They also technically cannot touch you but Iâve seen this rule broken before. But Iâve also seen a guy get stopped for beeping at the door and my manager literally see two champagne bottles in his backpack, but bc he didnât see him conceal them, he had to let him go lol.
-in my state, itâs actually legal for managers to physically stop theft from happening, but itâs against company policy. Again, this doesnât stop some of them.
-if you wanna return something without a recipe, we scan ids. If you paid with debit, we give cash back. Ppl return expensive medicine and vitamins all the time with receipts from the garbage and merch from another store that they lifted, and we just have to give them the return. You can get a lot of money this way, just donât do it to frequently.
SHIFTS/best timesđđ
- i work in a 24 hour store, so the shifts for a store like that would be something like 2 manager in the morning, along with 3 saâs, around 7am- 3:30/4pm. Then on week days, unless itâs expected to be busy for holidays or games, another manager comes in at 3:30/4-11/12 with 2 saâs, one leaving about 7:30-9pm. Then itâs just one sa and one manager until the night crew comes. On weekends  Thereâs always two manager so and 2 saâs before 9pm.Â
-the night crews are usually facing, putting up tags or shipment. This varies by store but I would not recommend going at these times bc they are bored and pay extra close attention to ppl. Itâs so so sus to go at these times for anything other than wine or beer.
- on shipment days, which where Iâm at is 2 times a week, is fridays and tuesdays. The truck could come anywhere between 11am to 7pm. On these days, there is obvi more staff on the floor, but the night crew handles the majority of the unloading. Still Be careful bc the truck could come early and the managers will put it up in that case. There are also more sas these days. Iâd say find out the days near you by asking something like â"youâre out of this when will you get moreâ
- basically if you notice only one or two saâs, And donât see a manager around, youâre probably good to go find a blind spot.Â
BLIND SPOTS/TAGSđťđťđ¤
- avoid pharmacy, cosmetics, liquor, allergy and electronics. Obvi this varies by store but the best places Iâve noticed to conceal is grocery, unless itâs by the door like the one in my store, cards, hair brushes, and seasonal. Just do not let anyone see you and youâll be good. Remember that cameras are probably not monitored, but act like they are.
-rdif tags are on some cosmetics, nails, all alcohol(along with those cylindrical tops you need a magnet to get off), expensive types of vitamins and medicines, and batteries. But sometimes the towers are old and shitty like in my current store so if you conceal it under a few lays in a bag or on your person you might not even set them off. The liquor tops will always go off tho.
- if you beep, just keep walking. I know everyone says this but for real. Donât stop. If we donât see you conceal it, thereâs nothing we can do.
-dress normally, be kind and be quick.
- DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT BRING A LARGE BAG OR BACKPACK INTO THE STORE UNLESS ITS FOLDED UP IN YOUR CART/BASKET. This is an automatic red flag for us to keep an eye on you. Youâre better off concealin on your body or in the restrooms. If the store has a minute clinic, then they also have a restroom. The âtake two and put on backâ method is probably the best way to go about things.
â¨â¨FINALLYâ¨â¨
- cameras are intimidating, but almost never monitored
- if you beep, keep walking
- As long as nobody sees you, and you donât conceal on camera ( which I know sounds like genaric advice but avoiding saâs is not hard at all bc we have to stay up at the front anyway) you can literally get away with so much.
-we do have pictures in the back of people involved in organized retail crime, but thats it. They pretty much stay there forever.
All in all, just be safe, use common sense and youâll be sittinâ pretty. Of all the people weâve caught in our store lifting, the one mistake they all made was concealing in front of someone. Not even on camera. If someone sees you, itâs over, just dump and go. Say you forgot the your card or something, ppl do that all the time. Again I work a 24/7 store so I canât speak for stores that close or more suburban stores.
Good luck babesđđđÂ

HOW?!?! I am pinching myself
i will never understand why people post about their personal lives on their ILLEGAL SHOPPING LIFTING BLOG FOR CRIMINALS, like honey i wanna know how to rob rich people, and not know about how sweet and dreamy jeffery from chemistry class is.
I guess because sometimes itâs the only place they can talk about stuff they canât say out loud to themselves or friends and family? I love the community on here, I can tell them anything. Iâve posted a bit of personal stuff of here and every time thereâs lovely people inboxing me with suggestions and support and it really fucking helps me. This is the only blog I have and Iâm not going to make another one purelyyyy for my eMoTiOnzZ because most of the time itâs not that deep.
^ Second that, a lot of people have been super kind to me. Of course no one should be posting their super personal details giving out their identity and stuff but also itâs nice to have people to listen especially when you donât have many irl friends who will.
lifting from office stores
okay hoes, take a seat because iâm about to rock your lil worlds.Â
okay, maybe not, but i worked in a big chain store (office depot) for over two years, and let me tell you - it it easy as hell to just fuck the entire store up.
first things first: every store is different. i worked in two different locations in two different cities, and there are major similarities and differences in each. SAME: cams on the ink and some tech. managers care more about ink more than their children. that shit is expensive as hell, and easy to lift depending on the policies in the store. if they are in the security boxes: you are out of luck my friend, unless you can get your hands on the spider or alpha key to unlock them. they are practically indestructible. my coworkers and i would throw them against the walls and they would just bounce. other than tech, cams throughout the store are bound to be few and far between, if there are any at all. seriously, find a blind spot and conceal in your purse, and you can get enough pens to last you until you graduate with your college degree. DIFFERENCES: obviously locations. it depends on the area that youâre in when you go inside, because it determines how youâll dress and be viewed by the employees. watch your cams. they might not be just in tech. iâve seen them in back corners and above the hallway to the restrooms before, but those arenât common where iâm from. just be careful.
things that are easy to lift: pens. markers. sticky notes for days. phone cases that are not in security boxes, just pop those lil shits open and shove them in your pockets. phone chargers. desk accessories. if your bag is big enough, paper and notepads are a breeze. folders are a joke. do you even know how many pencil bags and things of lead for mechanical pencils i have? itâs insane. literally anything in the store that is not tagged or in a box, grab it.
things that are not so easy: i have mentioned before in a post or two the major things iâve been able to lift.Â
Printers: easy as pie. literally just grab the thing, box and all, and walk out. these are not tagged. they are easy to boost. they are light, depending on the model you grab. let me tell you how it is the easiest thing youâll ever do: you ever see those SAs with the mobile phone lookinâ things? those things are a dream. we use them to check inventory in our store, other stores, but the most important thing is that we use them to check customers out in other places in the store other than the registers. This is key. You need to make sure that one of the associates that you talked with has one of these, or you see them, otherwise this approach will not work. If the store associates donât carry them, the second phase of this âwhole lift and carry outâ plan will not work. When you grab the printer, you can either put it in a cart and walk around for a bit or walk right on out if thereâs nothing else you have to grab. If you are stopped, which is more than likely, shoot them a sincere, nice, genuine smile and tell them this: âOh, (insert associateâs name here) checked me out already on that phone thing.â These are basically the magic words. We are lazy fuckers. We do not care about double-checking. The son of a bitch behind the counter will wave you out and say have a nice day. Honestly, this method is best used if youâre super confident and have been doing this for a while. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU TRYING THIS IF YOU ARE NEW TO LIFTING. PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT THIS TO GO OVER SMOOTHLY. Like I said before, every store is different. If you have a bad feeling, do not go through with it. This method works best in a crowded store, or during a rush for back to school. BACK TO SCHOOL IS ONE OF THE MOST STRESSFUL TIMES OF THE YEAR FOR US. IT IS STRAIGHT BLACK FRIDAY FOR THREE MONTHS. I HATED IT. IT STARTS IN JULY AND GOES THROUGH SEPTEMBER. But use that to your advantage. I havenât paid for my school supplies in years. YEARS.
Desk Chairs: tbh, you can use the printer walk out method with these as well. just bring a cart back to the furniture pad with you, pick out a chair, and walk out with the same line.Â
Laptop: Okay, this is priceless. A lot of my friends asked me how I got it, but honestly it only works if you have a really, really good friend in the store. My coworker was really into lifting, and we talked about way to get a computer for each of us because our old ones were dying. Computers are held in the back of the store in a cage that is locked and only the managers have the keys. Not the tech guys you see walking around the floor, but the manager on duty. They are the most precious thing that the store has to protect, which is why only select people have access to them. We were a close knit family, my friend, my manager and I. My manager would leave us to close the doors when we closed, and lock everything up, since they were usually counting the money and didnât want to be distracted. So we used that to our advantage. One night, I came in 5 minutes to close, my manager was already in the back counting the cash, and my friend was working the floor alone. It was a rare and beautiful thing. My friend borrowed the keys to âlock the side doorsâ and he ran to the cage in the back, unlocked it, grabbed the laptop I wanted, handed it off to me, walked me to the front, and locked the doors behind me. I was home free. It was honestly the biggest thrill of my life, but itâs helped me though homework and classes this semester, and I am so thankful. Now I have a 17âł beauty to blog on and itâs amazing.
INK IS ALWAYS TAGGED IN THE BOXES. THEY ADHERE TO THE SIDE OF THE INSIDE OF THE BOXES, AND WILL SET OFF THE ALARM. IF IT ISNâT IN A BOX, ITâS STILL TAGGED. These are usually off-brand or cheaper brands of inks, like Canon, and Epson. HP is always tagged and in a secure box, so those are lil bitches. For the cheaper ones, you can slip it into your purse, and walk out with a crowd or after a small purchase, and keep walking if/when it beeps.Â
LIKE I HAVE SAID BEFORE. THERE IS A MINUSCULE CHANCE YOU WILL BE CHASED. LIKE, SO SMALL YOU CANâT EVEN SEE IT. CASHIERS ARE LAZY FUCKS, I KNOW BECAUSE I WAS ONE. IF YOU BEEP, KEEP WALKING OR LOOK CONFUSED AND GET WAVED OUT BY THE WORKERS.
HAPPY LIFTING BABES, AND IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, FEEL FREE TO ASK ON TIPS AND POLICIES FOR RETURNS AND SUCH. I am here at your disposal, use me how you like. Literally ask me anything.
Can confirm that this-probably-aint-legal is a lifting goddess an these words are straight truth

Reasons Why The Shoplifting Community Is Under No Threat
1. Tumblr staff has already been petitioned to âstopâ the shoplifting community. Their response to the issue, (which is easily searchable) was that they basically could do nothing about us. They responded saying that photos of a âcrimeâ are not illegal, because the media constantly promotes images of crime occurring/the aftermath of a crime. They mentioned that they had no intention of shutting any shoplifting fandom blogs down because that would be infringing on our first amendment rights of free speech. That being said, have no fear! Tumblr is not kicking us off! (If they kicked us off, theyâd also have to kick off the porn blogsâŚ..lol)
2. ALSO, donât ever worry about law enforcement finding you off of tumblr! If any of you have seen it, a list containing our URLâs has been going viral which urges people to âreportâ us to online crimestoppers. I chuckle at their half-assed attempt to stop us, but they arenât smart enough to understand that even their best try to shut our community down is endlessly flawed. Firstly, even if the FBI or police cared about striking down shoplifters, they have no way of sifting the actual shoplifters from the roleplayers or âfantasy shopliftersâ. Many blogs who claim to shoplift are mere trolls or people who have a weird alter ego. Do you really think the cops will try to investigate thousands of blogs, trying to determine the real âcriminalsâ from the posers? Hell no.Â
-Additionally, even IF police forces could somehow determine the true shoplifters from the fakes, they would not have enough evidence to bring suit in court. They would have to prove that beyond a reasonable doubt, that YOU stole. One picture of a haul just wonât do it. Theyâd have to use their precious time and resources to obtain footage from retail stores, obtain receipts of purchase, and obtain inventory dataâŚ..and then court! On average, hiring lawyers and paying a fee to even have a case heard can cost anywhere from $2-$3k.  Itâs impossible.
The ONLY way that a shoplifter would actually face real trouble from Tumblr would be if he/she were to post about a serious crime, like a murder or robbing a bank of thousands. OrâŚposting a haul with mona lisa in it. LOL.
For law enforcement officials, trying to prosecute shoplifters is a huge waste of time, resources, and money. Believe me when I say that they have much bigger issues on their hands.Â
The only real âdangerâ that our community faces is intimidation and hatred from non-lifters. Theyâll send us private messages, theyâll compile lists and try to track us, theyâll wine and go on rants about the âsocial injusticesâ we cause, but theyâre only bitching and wasting their energy. Let them take out all their teenage angst and frustration out on us while we sit back and laugh. The world has bigger problems.Â
Letâs steal the declaration of independence
