Dealing With Parents Divorce

It hurt to know that you had more time for others but you never had time for me.

I don’t understand why you’re allowed to get angry and be upset, but the moment something bothers me, you just can’t deal with it right now…

I think that’s what happens when you’ve lived a lonely childhood. You get too attached to people as you get older, in the hope that they’ll give you the care and love that you missed out on and never leave you.
