“Un huh” he smiled softly as he watched the move before nodding. “I’m enjoying it; it’s nice to see monsters that aren’t going to attack me every once in a while.” he added as he looked at Kat, kissing her forehead. “We can change it to something else if it’s just alright; I don’t wanna make you sit through my punishment movie like it’s a punishment for you too.” he said, rubbing her shoulder softly. 

“Oh, so I owe you huh?” he teased, kissing her lips as he leaned on her, taking her into his arms as he started to watch the movie. He didn’t mind the horror; the guts and gore or the jump scares even. Honestly he’d seen much worse; it felt weird to be accustomed to such a thing but he shrugged it off. He kissed Kat’s cheek and smiled. “So, how’s the movie so far?” he asked softly; not wanting to speak over it. 

“That’s true.” He mumbled. “Well, I mean, it’s because we both care about you.” He said, smiling lightly. Scott smiled at her reaction and the way she held herself. “Come here, you dummy.” He mimicked her words, before he pulled her into his arms for a hug. “I’m glad you’re not as upset as well at me when you first came.” He mumbled into her skin.

“Well that’s relieving to hear.” He teased. “Okay. Let’s do it. Let’s give it a try. Together.” He grinned, before leaning towards her and closing the distance between them. He sighed softly into the kiss and wrapped one arm around her waist and another one settled at the nape of her neck. When he pulled back, Scott entwined his fingers with hers and sat next to her on the couch. “Gladly.” He said, before capturing her lips again, grinning.

Kat ducked her head, smiling as she heard Scott. “Dummy? Rude.” She sniffed, but leaned into him anyways. “I’m glad as well. I thought I was going to end up alone.” She admitted, looking up at him from her spot, biting at her lower lip. 

Theo could hear her heartbeat. He knew she was just trying to torture him; he gave an over exasperated groan and rolled his eyes. “Of course…..great, suppose you’re going to make me stay awake for it all too?” he asked, leaning against the couch, wrapping his arm around her and pressing himself to the back of the house. “Yeah, yeah; go ahead. Press play, let us both suffer for this.” he teased, kissing her forehead. He wasn’t going to let her know he knew about her little lie; he instead just watched the screen; wondering what she really chose. 

“Just, loaded with mushrooms then. Got it.” he grinned, clearly teasing as he ordered her a pepperoni pizza with bacon on half and on the other green peppers and black olives. Figuring that a half meat half veggie pizza wouldn’t be too bad as he got himself something similar. Placing the order he shook his head. “Nah, I’ll get something when I get up to pay for the food. What movie did you choose?”

Theo nodded a bit, smiling. “What do you want on your pizza?” he asked with a half smile, nodding a bit as he looked over to her. “Figure we each get half, unless you want a whole pizza for leftovers later and stuff.” he said after a moment unsure of which would be better as he grabbed his phone, watching Kat as she got up, tilting his head a bit; admiring his girlfriend before sitting back, ordering his own half of the pizza with another window open to change the order to two pizzas. 

Theo sighed softly, running his hand through his hair before looking at Kat. He paused, then leaned in and kissed her lips softly, resting his head on her forehead. “I’m sorry, alright? I just, I thought you were getting upset and I thought that you were saying I always leave you for dates.” he said after a moment. “I have, nowhere to be, and I would love dinner, and sexytimes, and a movie.” he said, looking at Kat before leaning in and kissing her lips deeply once more. 

Theo chuckled. “Hey, hey; I’ll text you a picture of me and Scott when I meet up with him, so you can see what’s up” he said. “Might even get to have a movie night with him when I ask him.” he shrugged. “We’ve had them before so, could be a little fun. Then we can do one all together, only fair.” he said after a moment. 

“Oh a picture of you two holding hands is supposed to make up for keeping secrets.” She questioned, staring at him, though a small smile did appear on her face. “I like the sound of it though. A new lockscreen or homescreen of you two dorks would be cute.” She smiled slightly. “Sounds like fun. I’ll wait here, alone, by my phone to hear the news.” It wasn’t meant to sound as bitter as it came off and she winced. “You know what I mean.” She told him.

Scott sighed. “You make me nervous Kat. Not in a bad way, of course. I just- I don’t know what to say around you. I feel like whatever I’ll say will make seem dumb compared to other guys, you know?” He said quietly. “I’m sorry if I made you feel like that, that really wasn’t my intention. I’ve just spent the last few days, coming up with the best way to talk to you and to talk about, well, this.” He explained. Scott nodded, understanding her position. “I get it. I completely get it, and you do have that with us. We care about you a lot, trust me.” He said, moving to stand closer to her. 

Scott crouched down to her level, lifting his hands up to cup her face. “Hey, look at me. Don’t overthink this. The truth is I care about you. I like you. A lot. And I really wanna give this a chance between the three of us.” He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “That is, if you want me too?” He asked, cautiously. 

“Other guys are dumb. Other guys are always only interested in one thing.” She pointed out to him. “You and Theo? You’re already better than other guys because you actually care.” She pointed out to the alpha. She sighed and looked him in the eye, a little ashamed of the way she melted into his touch as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “I do want you to, dummy.” She said, though her voice regained some of her confidence, though softened, rather than the loud anger she had displayed when she came in. 

“I know.” She said, curling against the alpha. “I mean I think that could work. But you don’t want people to think they can start shit between the packs either. I don’t really know werewolf, chimera protocol for two alphas fucking each other.” She said. Sighing, she nodded. “You’re right. Not that your ego needs to hear that.” She laughed and closed her eyes for a second. “I love you.”

“Would be interesting to watch them try to start shit between our packs; not knowing about Scott and I.” he chuckled. “They’d be dispatched rather quickly.” he said after a moment before looking at her and smiling, kissing her forehead and putting his arm around her; and resting it on her shoulder. 

Scott’s eyes widened, surprised and a bit terrified. “Uh, thank you?” He mumbled. “Right, so I meant to talk to you about all of, well, that. Uh, where do I start? Okay, so, um, yes I did confess to you all that, which I mean it. All of it and I just couldn’t face you after what happened with Theo and then I what I said to you, I just felt vulnerable and alone, and I was scared to have all that used against me… It’s stupid and dumb, but whatever. I’m just… I’m not who I used to be. I’m not that confident, strong Alpha anymore. I’m… I’ve changed.” He admitted softly. 

“I have, like, freakin’ major feelings for you. Like you have no idea.” He said with emphasis. “It’s just… I literally just was able to wrap my head around the idea of all three of us, so that’s all. I’ve been thinking to call you so that we could talk, but I guess you beat me to the chase.” He added. Scott’s jaw dropped at her bluntness. “Uh, well, um, yeah, sure I guess.” He said lamely. 

“If you told Theo, why the hell can’t you just come to me? Why not text me if you have to?” She questioned. “I mean all it takes is ‘Hey, Theo and I wanna give this a shot, you in?’“ She snapped. “I’m upset, Scott. Because I’m tired of being the last to know. I’m tired of not being kept in the loop of my own relationship.” She said, sighing. “I just...want people who are going to take care of me and let me take care of them. Someone who cares. And I thought I had that with you and Theo. But you are cutting me out.” She admitted, closing her eyes.
