can i say something..... controversial?

ppl hyping up black girls in media means nothing if they don't actually.... you know..... support the everyday black women around them. i say this all the time but a lot of ppl's activism begins nd ends at the media they consume. redesigning sakura to be a black girl or giffing chloe x halle or going crazy over the black idol in black swan actually means nothing if you don't give a fuck about the average black girl that isn't model sized or dressing sexy like saweetie or megan thee stallion. bc i see a lot of y'all obsessing over the image of black women so you can pat yourself on the back but ignore every other black woman that's not oiled up nd contoured
