without tenderness you are nothing!!
this urn will turn you into a tree after you die
and you can choose what kind of tree you want to become
just imagine cemeteries looking like this
life after death
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT
this is how all cemeteries should look. its awkward to hug a gravestone. imagine hugging your grandma/tree. ugh rebuild all cemeteries
Bury me like this.
Still want this.
July 9th, 2015
One year ago I met someone who would forever change my life. I’m more than happy to call her my love. On July 9th of 2014 we met at a Starbucks to get coffee and talk, and since then have been basically inseparable. She’s the kindest, cutest, most selfless person I have ever met. She taught me that I most certainly am not better off alone, amongst other things. I love you <3 Have an amazing day :)
10 years. A wonderful journey. :)

I am so thankful that I have you in my life. I’m just happy that I get to text you all day and see you every two weeks, even if you’re 100 miles away and we’re both at school. It doesn’t phase me, I’m just glad that you’re in my life.
Still glad. Only had to do this for what, 3 more years after this? And then we've been living together for... 6 years? The big picture is a wonderful thing. <3
“but I feel like everything is all fucked up. I feel like no one wants me around anymore, they all think I dont like them or they dont like me”
— me, to my love (I hope she was right)
Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria symptom of ADHD. She was right. She's always right.
Sup fam. Not exactly sure what this post is going to be getting at but I figured I should write one nonetheless.
Been struggling super hard since this winter for some reason. Yes, there were a lot of varying factors that I’m sure had their impact on that struggle. The bottom line, though, is that this struggle really comes down to one thing: purpose. That kind of means like my purpose in the world, but it also has to do with if anything we do really has any purpose/meaning. My personal set of beliefs leads me to believe that no, really nothing has any meaning in the scope of existence. I used to take that one step further, and say that we, the lives on this world, give each other meaning. But recently the scope of our existence has been negating any type of meaning that we give each other. I think part of the reason that I’ve come to doubt my previous belief is because I see, and learn about, on a daily basis all of the terrible things that humans do to others. I want to believe that there is good in the world, but do all of the little niceties make up for the horror that many are put through by no fault of their own? I’m not sure yet.
Either way, I’m going into a profession where I get to go out into the world and find out if some of these people themselves are truly happy. And if they are in fact truly happy, then I would have to assume that the good outweighs the bad. It just seems like humanity is headed down such a dark road, one that we have been headed down for quite a long time. I hope people are brave enough to keep publicly fighting for what they believe in, because I know at times I am very much not.
The thing that I’m working on the absolute most within this struggle is enjoyment of the present. I think about the past, I miss a lot of it. I miss a person or two, a place or two, but most of all I miss how worry-free everything used to be. I think about the future, and I plan. But I try to plan too much, for things I absolutely cannot account for. Recently I’ve just been hoping that all this work, the education that I am earning and the education that I am giving to others, is worth it in the end. Will it all be worth it when I’m off on my own? Will living my own life be enough when I am there? Or will I be waiting for the next thing, once again? I hope very much that it is enough, and I hope that I have the power to make it that way. Many people say that it’s a mindset thing, so I’m going to try my best and hope for the best. I just don’t want to end up the same way that I see a lot of society as.
There is meaning in the relationships we build with others, the love built, the care provided, experiences shared. Do the small wins make up for the horrors of the world? I don't think so. We won't allow those horrors in our spaces though. You didn't go into that profession. You tried, but you weren't the right fit for it. You found another way to help people, albeit fix their tech. You will find the strength to speak publicly. So will others. There will always be dissent in the face of oppression, even if our systems were built to and continue to oppress specific populations. You will continue to struggle with the present. You have ADHD. And with that ADHD comes particular symptoms of social anxiety, and even general anxiety. That planning was all you could do to try to protect yourself. There's too much you can't account for. No, Social Work didn't work out for you in the end. The education did, in that it helped you figure things out for yourself and also understand working with others better in any capacity. It was worth it. It will take time and effort, but you will not always be waiting for the next thing.
I don’t understand how people can be so happy when there’s so many awful things happening in the world.
You understood then. You has- tagged it. Ignorance. We all have to either live in ignorance, find some sort of peace in the lives we build for ourselves, or some combination of the two.
Justice does not exist (that I know of) outside humanity. So why should any of us care what happens in the world, as long as we make sure we are happy? Sure it’s selfish, but if there’s no right and wrong in the universe, why should we get to decide what is okay and what is not okay? Would it not then come down to each of us striving to be individually happy despite the cards we are dealt?
But then what if that individual happiness inhibits the happiness of others (and it does in the world, in many ways)? How are we supposed to rectify that, especially if we are born into systems that both provide us with happiness and take happiness from others?
Fuck, I hope I’m able to help others.
Lots of questions. There aren't answers. This world was not built for answers to questions like those. In the end, you are able to help others, just not in the way you expected you would be.

This may not be popular opinion but at this point I’ve decided that America deserves whatever may come these next 4 years for allowing this to happen. Lets just hope the impacts will not span past those 4 years.
America, humanity. Your general opinion of the human race has not improved, nor our prognosis on this planet.
As I sit here heading home from a family vacation I keep asking myself so many questions. What kind of world are we living in where after a family vacation we need a break from family? This is supposed to be rest, relaxation, and enjoyment for the whole family. Yet by the end of it we’re all sick of each other. But this is an issue spanning far beyond just family vacations. My experience with this family (this entire family, myself not being excluded in any way) is that everyone is so fucking negative. Honestly, why does every interaction with each other need to have a tone of impatience, condescension, and disgust? I wrote something similar about this a few years ago. Maybe I’ll go back and reblog it. But each of those things shows me that the general feeling is anger with each other. And as far as I’m concerned, anger shows that we take the things we are angry at for granted. If you don’t appreciate what’s around you, you should either remember to take the time to appreciate it, or find something else that you will appreciate. Either way, if you aren’t enjoying your life – make a change so that you will. Everyone deserves happiness; don’t waste anyone else’s, or even your own, time trying to force something that at the end does not make you happy. Enjoy everything that you’ve worked for, and if you don’t enjoy it yet, keep working toward something you will enjoy. I guess my point is that everyone should be thinking critically about their own behavior – if you notice that you’re constantly annoyed, angry, frustrated, etc., I think you should really take the time to think about why that is and how it can be changed. Make the effort to make your life, and the lives around you, the best lives they can be. At the end of the day all we have is each other, and ourselves.
Letting go of anger is hard, but worth it. Because of the very reasons you point out.
If you are ever having a serious conversation with me - you need to listen to exactly what I’m saying and not make assumptions about me or what I believe. I say things the way I say them for very specific reasons.
The reoccurring theme of the neurodivergent tone.
the only thing in this world worthy of my anger is the person that taught me to feel it.
he's not even worthy of that. no one is worthy of that.

I feel like at the end of next month I’ll have wasted 18 years of my life by being too careful. I want to be able to talk to random people, and to have some sort of confidence in my actions with new people. How do I change though other than just doing it?
Lexapro.
I only have a few regrets from my time in highschool, but theyre pretty big. At least to me.
10 years later, you don't even remember what they are.
