Whoever you are….

I apologize in advance for how difficult I may be when you meet me. You may seek my heart but I may not relinquish it to you easily. It’s because I’ve allowed myself to be vulnerable too many times for it only to end up backstabbing me. I don’t want to say that I’m afraid of love — more so, I’m unable to trust in human beings…at the moment, at least. Humans are flawed and they can’t help it, yet I don’t believe I possess the patience to deal with external parties right now.

Currently, I’m on a journey to find internal peace and happiness within myself. For so long I depended on past significant others to fill a void that I honestly needed to fill on my own...within myself. How can you honesty love wholeheartedly when you haven’t truly learned to love yourself?

How do you use Facebook?

For me, my page began as a migration from the late, great Myspace. It became a place where my friends and I played “lms for a...” games, engaged in poke wars, roasted each other, and stayed in touch after school. It was also the beginning of the merge of adults and kids on one social media platform (crazy right).

In college, my Facebook became a place for my family and friends to stay in touch with me and follow my life outside of Thomaston, mostly. I finally let my mom follow me lol. It was also a place to expand my network with people I met at college.

Nowadays, my Facebook page is more of a blog of me navigating life as a young adult (mostly in pictures), and a way for me to stay current with what’s going on in society and loved ones. It’s also a great place to find interesting videos of the most random things.
