I know I’m going to get a heap of push back on this, but… I am not a fan of Pumpkin spice. Don’t get me wrong, it has its place, but that place is limited to Pumpkin Pies and maybe some Pumpkin bread, but that’s it. 

It’s fine. I reckon we all have let life get the better of from time to time; I know i did not that long ago. The important thing is that you’re back and just in time for the best Holiday of the year!

I couldn't agree more with you, Jules. Pumpkin spice is definitely the ultimate fall flavor/scent, and if you don't enjoy it, then there must be something wrong with you. I can eat a slice of pumpkin pie or pumpkin bread here and there, but it's not my favorite.

Any time, enjoy your latte, Sam. It wouldn't be bad if she kept with one type of pumpkin spice smell, if you know what I mean. She has like this wax melting warmer, and usually it smells great. However, her pumpkin spice wax is stronger than her body spray, but it's more in like a spicy type of way?

See, that’s my thought process. But I imagine some would think I was, by virtue of being a twin. I mean, anyone can cosplay anything, she’s just one of my favorites, at least of characters my sister has played. I have other cosplays, though many are D&D characters. I mean, I've seen some pretty good ones, so they really shouldn't get too upset about, but I get it. Besides, shouldn't it be like a twin pass that you get to have? Captain Cater is amazing. Dude, yes. I'll definitely look into it, do you have pics of your D&D cosplay? I'm not much into D&D, but I do appreciate the work put into the sessions.

I enjoy the coffee flavor from time to time but it’s really gone too too far. I believe last year we even had pumpkin spiced spam? Enough is enough.

Pumpkin spice spam? That does not sound appetizing at all. I get wanting to have some smell or taste here and there for those who enjoy it, but there is a limit. I'm scared to see what else they will come up with.

I sincerely hope that’s hyperbole, even if I have enjoyed a little pumpkin spice myself this week. Fragrance on the other hand is a separate issue as everyone should feel comfortable in their work-space. 

If you and your lovely family join mine for dinner this week, we’ll call it apology accepted.. 

Right, the latte or food are okay, but it's the fragrance that kills me. Especially if it's like an all day, everyday kind of thing. I'm definitely going to bring it up, and hopefully I'm not the only one with the problem with it. Maybe she can keep her wax warmer for an hour or less a day. Or every other day.

The amount of rage I would have if someone did that would be… probably too much, but I genuinely dislike when people go all in like that.

I think I would have been okay with it, had she not have her little wax warmer on all throughout the shift. Maybe for a few minutes or even an hour, but not all her shift.

Okay I know i’ve spent a fair amount of my life being a drama queen but Girl you need to chill.  You will not die from pumkin spice poisening.

It is. There’s just something about it that is very warm and lovely. Yeah, scents, in particular, suck. I have aversions to certain ones and anytime I smell them they just give me a killer headache and it’s horrendous. Like, feel free to be obnoxious, as long as it doesn’t directly interfere with me.

It does have that warm-homey feeling, I don't mind it. I mean, it could also be that it reminds me of my mom's house as well. Yes! The thing that bugs me more is that they don't all smell the same. Like it's supposed to be sweet and warm, but really some just smell spicy. Like it's not a constant smell, it changes a lot. Ugh, I know what you mean about getting headaches after.

Is this the same co-worker who puts their Christmas decorations up right after Thanksgiving? Because we both know how you feel about that. Has to be at least December.

Yes, the very same one. I just feel like there is a time for everything, and you practically get whiplash on how fast she changes it all. It isn't like a few decorations, she goes all out, and how she does it so fast without anyone actually seeing her change it is beyond me. I think she might secretly be a witch.

Like, pumpkin spice is okay, but apple-cinnamon is the superior fall scent/flavor and no one can tell  me otherwise. And while I’m all for loving what you love and letting people be, there’s a point where what they’re doing is possibly harmful and this person probably has gotten there already.

Apple-cinnamon is a way better smell than pumpkin spice. Exactly. I’m all for letting everyone doing their own decor in their personal space, but there is a limit to how much one can take with those strong smells.
