Like the idea of yuuya finding ryouta during a whole Moment of angsting over hiyoko getting so close with sakuya when sakuya SUCKS what on earth does she see in SAKUYA?!? and yuuyas like. Trying to be fair and says well yknow at least they’re both happy? And ryouta just feels worse cuz like the whole idea of my best friend is happy and I’m miserable so now I feel like an asshole. And she just kinda laments on like hiyoko is out there living her life and making new friends and moving on and ryouta just goes back to her childhood bedroom to dream about that after work. She wishes she had any type of real life experience under her belt than working. Shes always working. She’s never done this she’s never done that. Shes never been in a relationship. She’s never even kissed someone! And yuuya, uncharacteristically awkwardly offers to be her first kiss. Shes annoyed at first, thinking he’s just doing his usual flirty thing, and he just kinda earnestly says no I’m serious. I’d be honored. This has been on my mind for days btw

Thinking really intensely about the very blatant fondness/pity yuuya has for ryouta in bbl and it makes me think they probably got along well enough before the events of bbl . I like to think hiyoko talked very very kindly of ryouta and therefore led a lot of birds to know ryouta through hiyokos eyes … just thinking
