"needed some notes." he says, eyes almost as bright as yours as he keeps staring into them. "uh...what notes....?" you manage to mumble out. but wait, you're sitting in your seat and it's another lecture. your friend is shoving you again, "can you please stop dreaming y/n...we're all gonna get in trouble if you think of bakugo so much..." and you sigh, agreeing with her and silently deciding to move on.

katsuki grimaces when he stares down at the dirty green mixture in the tall glass he's holding. his mother noticed how starstruck he was when he saw you, and took the opportunity to tease him. "oh, katsuki lovessss this juice too by the way...he has it every morning, haha." and she shows him the same shit-eating grin he shows everyone else.

he's gulping down, grip tightening around the glass when he sees you curiously watching him. maybe he can impress you if he has it in one go without any reaction. then you'll want to be with him and ask him for his number. he smiles internally as he brings the glass to his lips. he opens his mouth and starts to swallow the bitter and thick smoothie. this tastes exactly like the thing his mom puts on those toasts she makes...there is no way his mother drinks this every sunday.

just as he's about to puke in his mouth, he hears you gasp. so he gulps down, and lets his eyes get lost in your facial features. "woah, that's so cool...that you have a coriander sauce...everyday...katsuki..." and he wants to be mad. he really wants to be fuming, call his mother an annoying hag, and yell at her. but he can't. he's too busy falling in love with the way you say his name. the way you laugh at him. the way your eyes crinkle and your nose scrunches. you try to hide your crooked tooth when you smile but god he just can't help but think it's so much cuter that way.

"oh...nice. uh, what course-" "top floor." he grumbles about not even getting to know your name under his breath, and just says a little "that's me." as he puts the kid down. he ruffles his head and tells him to be good with one foot out the door, when the little boy yells, "dynamight!!" his little feet run towards katsuki and he gestures him to crouch down. katsuki furrows his eyebrows and obliges, a smile forming on his face when he hears what the boy softly whispers in his ear, "her name's y/n."
