my favorite character trope is like misunderstood "evil" people
not like "ugh no one understands my motivations for doing evil" but like "i believe/my actions are good but everyone else perceives them as evil and i don't know why nobody likes me"
ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES FROM LIVING WEAPONS it's just ooughhh
i also really like characters who are hated for something out of their control
like how Absol is said to bring disaster but is actually predicting them and trying to warn people
or how Darkrai is (according to Bulbapedia) not intentionally malicious and presumably cannot contain its overflowing power
"we have to accept the fact that the r word is coming back" NO WE DONTTTT NO WE DONT

i just realized i’ve been referring to ibis paint as IBS paint what the hell
i swear i NEED to see Clemont (and/or Bonnie) in Legends ZA i might actually explode if i don’t

printed these out while working on schoolwork. Rumi protects my room now
i'm reading a horror novel rn and it's about ghosts and some girl getting possessed and stuff (wowzers real original) but no one will believe her and i'm genuinely so goddamn mad right now. mostly because of the "adults just won't listen" cliche (eh to be fair i've always hated that trope) but i've also thought about something else
in every horror story i've read, the ghost is always trying hurt/kill the main character because of some unfinished business. yes, there has been some cases where the ghost is actually a figment of the mc's guilt and all but that's just some cases. often times, the unfinished business is just small stuff and the ghost is blowing it way out of proportion. like in the last book i read, the ghost was basically like "i have no friends but you were nice to me, but now you want to leave so now i'm gonna kill you" and i feel like that trope is overused
why do ghosts always have to make their business everyone else's problem? yes, i know you're resentful and you hate everyone, but these people did nothing wrong. go do your unfinished business yourself
okay to be fair the main character of the story i'm reading now is genuinely so dumb. every time the ghost possesses her to make her do bad things, she's always like "oh oopsies my bad i slammed the window too hard" and blaming herself and stuff. like GIRL. that's not helping anyone. TELL SOMEONE
and don't you DARE hit me with the "oh they don't understand 🥺" you were literally told by one of your neighbors something was up with the house you moved into. whiny ass.

no because as a teacher you eventually have to ask yourself “damn, why don’t my students like me?”
especially after giving them a 100-question test on the third day of school
It's my mother's birthday today, so I expect all of you to turn this into a 20k post, 15k of those notes saying happy birthday.
GO GO GO! SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! MAKE YOUR FRIENDS SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! SAY IT!!!!
