ash tried not to make his skepticism too obvious, but he failed, his doubt reading across his face. if asked, he couldn’t really convey what his idea of fun even was anymore, but ash was pretty sure it didn’t look like seeing how many different versions of the woah and how much finger pointing could fit in one “dance”. he didn’t want to be any ruder than he’d already been, so he kept that fact to himself.
“if someone demands i do a tiktok dance to get their number, it sounds like they don’t actually want to give me their number, so i’d leave them alone.” ash had never had anyone demand a performance of a social media trend in exchange for their number, but maybe he just wasn’t up to date with the dating habits of the kids these days. he hadn’t been on a real date in years.
“besides, aren’t most people on tiktok born in the 2000s? they’d probably be a little young for me if they’re demanding that.” there’d be a generational gap, for sure, but that could be his fault seeing as minja seemed to know plenty about tiktok and she was only a year younger than him. “have you ever had to do a tiktok dance to win someone over?”
minja doesn’t want to speak, because the other is making sense. if someone demanded minja to do something so absurd in order to get their phone number, minja would most likely just walk away, unless of course, they were pretty, then she would reconsider and try her best to do the tik tok dance. most likely she would get their number, because there’s basically not a single tik tok dance minja doesn’t know.
“ah, well, what if they are super funny, super pretty and super smart? ah” minja scratches her neck “well, my point is, learning tik tok dances could be important, so we must learn this, you shall shake your ass, even if it takes five years” minja sends the older a smile.
“hey!” minja’s face drops “tik tok is for all ages, young people like me use it too” minja crosses her arms “perhaps you’re just too old to know that” minja giggles before brushing a tot of her hair behind her ear. minja looks around, as if if she looks around she’ll find a proper answer for the other. “well, no, but, it’s a possible scenario i would say” she hums for a second “expect the unexpected?”
