So, Ron and Neville is the only Ron × his dormmates ships I haven't done and I'll be damned if I ever let anything go unfinished, so for the three ronnev shippers out there, this post is dedicated to you. Because I searched your blogs for inspiration.
So obviously they started really hanging out when they were eleven and they beat up Malfoy, Crabbe & Goyle at a quidditch game. Neville would play chess with Ron and they would help each other out in classes and such.
But they weren't thinking of each like that at eleven. And then fourth year hits and maybe they do think of each other like that. A little bit. Just a smidge.
Ron started hanging out with Neville more when he was fighting with Harry and Neville starts to realize "hey maybe I like him". Ginny is the first to notice that Neville gets blushy and stumbles over his words more when Ron is around.
And maybe Ron begins to notice as well.
Ron always let Neville talk about herbology during chess games and never interrupted him and the blonde boy's face would just light up and Ron couldn't help but blush.
Neville, on the other hand, loved the look of concentration on Ron's face as he made his next move.
And maybe they sit closer in the Great Hall or the library or the common room or basically anywhere they're sitting.
And then it's fifth year and they're both swept up in the DA and sometimes they look at each other across the Room of Requirement and stare a little bit too long and get flustered.
After the Battle at the Department of Mysteries, they're both pretty injured and have to stay in the hospital wing over night and maybe they can't sleep and maybe they spend hours whispering and maybe Neville decides to kiss Ron and maybe they become boyfriends and maybe they yearn for each other during the war and maybe after the war they live happily ever after. Just maybe.
Do you have an account on ao3/wattpad/etc.?
Yeah. Gwen_Myers on Ao3.
Ron and Seamus are my newest Ron ship, and here, I'll talk about an AU where they get together in sixth year:
Okay, so one night, they've been playing chess for hours and Seamus just cannot beat Ron and he almost gets angry and flips the board but then he yawns.
And Ron just looks at him, and maybe it's just the light hitting him a certain way, or how intimate it feels to watch someone yawn, or all the time they spent together, but he just wants to kiss Seamus.
So he leans over the board, knocking over all the pieces, and gebtly kisses him and hopes that Seamus won't pull away.
Seamus doesn't pull away.
And just like that, they're together. They cuddle on the couch in the common room, they sit beside each other in the great hall, Seamus is his biggest (and loudest) fan at quidditch games, they practice spells together and kiss whenever one of them gets the spell right, etcetera.
And yeah, they get hate for it, and they both get frustrated that them being together is just another reason to target them to some people, and when they lash out at those people, McGonagall always makes sure to give them easy detentions because she hates having to punish them for rightfully getting pissed at homophobic people.
They're really into the most basic intimacies - buttoning each other's shirts, fixing collars, patting down hair, kissing each other on the cheek, right on the edge of the lips.
Seamus's birthday is probably late October, and I think that Ron got him fudge that he made by talking the house elves in the the Kitchens into letting him cook in there.
They love Hogsmeade weekends together, just walking through the streets holding hands and going to The Three Broomsticks and sitting in a dimly lit corner booth.
For Christmas, the Weasleys invite Seamus and his mum over to the Burrow and Ron immediately loves Seamus's mum because she's actually the best, and Seamus is just in awe of Bill, and there's awkward mess with Percy and the minister and they have to excuse themselves with promise of coming back soon, but it's okay.
Oh, and btw, Seamus got Ron an autographed photo of the Keeper of Chudley Cannons, and Ron got Seamus a hand carved chess piece - a King, of course - that he carved a heart in the bottom of. They both loved their gifts.
During January, they spent a lot of time out in the snow, being kind of childish and making snowmen and laying in the snow and making snow angels and when they got in from the cold, they would lay with each other in the common room or one of their beds and cuddle to stay warm
They loved sharing bed, cuddling with each other, waking up tangled up with another, the softness of waking up beside someone, the lovely awkwardness of kissing with morning breath, waking up in the middle of the night only to cuddle closer and fall back to sleep, etcetera.
On Valentine's Day, Ron got a hold of firewhiskey and prepared a special picnic for him and Seamus and they ate on the floor of the dorm because it was too cold outside and Seamus got him a plain silver necklace with a pendant that he engraved "R+S" into with his wand.
On Ron's birthday, with that whole mess of Romilda Vane's chocolates, Seamus spent the entire time that Ron was in the hospital wing by his side. And took care of him for the week afterwards, always making sure he took essence of rue when he needed to. Ron got his birthday gift a week late.
During Easter Break, Ron goes to Ireland with Seamus for a few days to spend time with his mum and then they floo over to the Burrow for the last half of the week and spend it with the Weasleys, and they both love their time at each other's houses because they're just the kind of couple that love each other's families.
They just love each other okay.
I guess Ron likes to hold Harry
side views are just an excuse to draw Ron with a ponytail, haha

Can you imagine the whiplash that would have occurred in the HP fandom if -at the end of ‘The Silver Doe’- Ron had just grabbed Harry by the scruff of the neck and passionately kissed him?
I think this post was somehow reaching out to me because despite having never seen it before, I sort of wrote this scene into my Rarry post (except that Harry kissed Ron to give Ron the courage to destroy the locket)
Have you ever thought of a Ron/Dean pairing?
Oh, cute! I think of both Ron and Dean as very artistic, so it could work, though there is the slight problem of Ron's dislike of Dean in the 6th book because of Ginny dating Dean and Ron's overprotective older brother issues. So, maybe this could be an AU where Ginny and Dean don't date.
So, basically, AU where Ginny doesn't start dating Dean after breaking up with Michael. I feel like she would still have to date someone for some important events to occur, so let's say she dates Colin.
It's 6th year, and Lavender has been flirting with Ron for a while and Ron dreads the idea of turning her down. Because he's been thinking of somebody else lately. And he really doesn't know how to tell anyone that it's Dean.
When Ginny makes her comment about him not having an interest in the opposite gender and he openly flinches.
First quidditch game of the year and Dean has painted another banner to cheer him (and the rest of the Quidditch team) on and Ron's on a high after winning and maybe he accidently kisses Dean and maybe he backs away apologizing and maybe Dean pulls him in for a kiss too because Dean has liked him all year.
Ginny apologizes about her comment right after, because well, she had no idea and she now realizes how insensitive she was being.
They begin dating and get a lot of hate, but a lot of support as well. Neither Seamus and Hermione seem happy about it, but they both try to supportive.
Ron invited Dean over to the Burrow for Christmas, but Dean declines, wanting to see his mum and sisters. They exchange I love you's and gifts on the train. Ron bought Dean magical art supplies and Dean collected recipes for some of Ron's favorite meals and hand wrote them in a leather bound book.
They try to keep their PDA to a minimum but when Seamus reveals that he's uncomfortable with them messing around in the dorm (they assume it's because he's slightly homophobic, but it's actually because he likes Dean), they don't know what to do.
So, they turn take advantage of Ron's prefect status and start hooking up in the prefects bathroom, but while they do get a bit more courageous in there, Ron is adamant on losing his virginity in a bed, so they don't take that step for a while.
Meanwhile, they've been going on dates in Hogsmeade and Ron always finds a way for Dean to get midnight snacks (Dean is surprised when Ron finally reveals the passageway behind the painting of fruit) and Dean always cheers on Ron at Quidditch games and they're in their own little world.
After the incident with Romilda Vane's love potion though, they both start to realize that there is a ton of things going on around them and become a more relaxed couple, and instead of spending all their free time together, they spend time in the common room with their friends, playing wizards chess and gobstones and listening to music on the old tricked out record player that's at least two decades old
Oh, and Dean got Ron a simple (fake) gold necklace with a heart charm for his birthday
The week before Easter break, they finally get some alone time in the dorm together and decide to take the next step in their relationship and that is all I shall say about that.
They continue to date for the rest of the year and continue to love one another but mutually (and tearfully) break up before the school year ends
Even though they are broken up, Ron sends Dean three things for his birthday (let's just say it's in August): a cake that he made by himself, a book about soccer (or football, as Brits call it) that he scoured muggle London with Hermione for, and a note saying how much he missed Dean and how he still loved him.
Idk, if they would end up together in this universe, you can decide I suppose
Can you PLEASEEEEE do canon-divergent Ronarry?
Of course I can! I've slowly became more and more of a Rarry/Ronarry shipper, so this will be fun (also, thanks for the canon divergent part because I don't really know the timeline of things and it might get screwy (I haven't read the books in five years))
I mean, it technically started when they first met on the train, but I suppose it really started when Ron got upset about Rita Skeeter's rumours about Harry and Hermione being together. He assumed it was about being left out of the friend group, or about Harry getting even more fame, kind of like the jealousy he got when Harry became of Triwizard Tournament, but it wasn't either of those.
Ron gets a little bit more jealous as the rumours rage on, and so, when it comes down to him and Harry needing dates to the Yule Ball, Ron laughs and says "Why don't we just go together? It'll be a laugh," and Harry just looks him and says "Man, that's bloody brilliant! We'll make a joke out of the whole thing!" And Ron doesn't want it to just be a joke to Harry, but he'll live.
So they go together and get glared at Percy for dancing together and "making a mockery out of a sacred tradition" but Ron just flips him the bird and continues dancing with Harry. It's so much better than being uncomfortable all night with girls who would just feel unappreciated (in this universe, I believe Dean would have gone with Parvati, and well, Seamus went with Lavender, and maybe, just maybe, seeing Ron and Harry dance, gave those four the courage to dance with who they really want to dance this. And if we could have some Hermione x Padma, that'd be great too).
Also, Ron isn't even really upset when Viktor and Hermione come over to the table, because, well, he's distracted by Harry's laughter at the looks people are throwing them (maybe this could be where Hermione figures out, and gets a little upset, because she does like Ron, but she doesn't make a scene, she just walks out and Padma follows her).
Anyways. Come February, the rumours about Harry and Hermione are still going strong, but then Ron is Harry's most important person and of course Skeeter hears about this and about the Yule Ball and she starts up a different rumour. A rumour that isn't as much of a lie as the one about Harry and Hermione. And a ton of people start treating the two of them weird, start moving away from them in the hallways, and Hermione is just like, fuck her stupid crush on Ron, she is going to protect her best friends with everything she has and starts GSA kind of thing at Hogwarts and she makes it very clear that no one has to come out, and she doesn't try to force Harry and Ron to join or to realize their feelings because she knows they're not there yet. But she does ask them to join and they both do.
Ron joins, not because he thinks he's gay or bi, but because 1) Bill's bi, 2) Charlie is ace (something Charlie discovered by obsessing over tons of books about sexuality at a muggle library), and 3) he's trans and so is Ginny and nobody really knew because they transitioned so young but now, with Ginny's permission, they do. Harry joins because he always hated how the Dursleys talked about gay people.
Honestly, a ton of people join it.
Anyways, after Cedric dies, Ron can't speak to Harry all summer and he's kind of dying because "I have to talk to him 'Mione! I have to!" And Hermione is just like, 'when is this stupid boy going to realize he's in love with Harry'.
When Harry first sees Ron at Grimmauld Place, his first thought is to kiss him (he doesn't, of course), and he's just like 'where in bloody hell did that come from' because last Harry knew, he had a crush on Cho.
Not a lot happens between them in the fifth year, except that Ron is like, ready to kill Umbridge when he finds out what she's been doing to Harry, but that doesn't change much from actual canon.
There's also that one kiss with Cho, but in addition to her crying, he just didn't like it in general. He wasn't that attracted to Cho anymore. He never goes on a date with her.
But 6th year. Oof. Sixth year is a mess of sexual tension and stupid relationships. When Lavender starts flirting with Ron, he just goes with it, because Lavender is cute and sweet and he likes kissing her and Hermione is just like 'dude. wtf. Harry is right there.' And of course, Dean and Ginny get together.
Harry is super jealous and he thinks it's because Ginny and Dean are together, but after starting a thing with Seamus (because Seamus is also jealous and lonely) that lasts a lot longer than he expected it to, he realizes that he likes a different Weasley. But after accidently breaking up Dean and Ginny, he breaks it off with Seamus, and kisses Ginny for some reason (he really doesn't know why).
Anyways, while all this shit is going down, Hermione and Luna kissed sometime around Christmas, but they did 't get together. And instead of asking Cormac to Slughorn's party, Hermione invites Padma and they finally get together while Harry still takes Luna. Just a big gay mess, tbh.
There's a whole thing where Ginny has been slowly realizing her crush on Luna, and after Harry kisses her, she finally admits it, to herself and to everyone else. So, Linny is together.
Meanwhile, Ron and Lavender's relationship becomes more and more intense, and they even lose their virginity to each other, and they don't regret it but after he gets poisoned, he decides to break up with her because he realizes that he can't keep ignoring his feelings for Harry.
So, just to wrap it up, at the end of sixth year, only Hermione/Padma and Luna/Ginny are together, and the rest of our disaster gays are single.
During that summer, both Harry and Ron's feelings for each other grow and they stop being oblivious fucks in that respect but they have no idea that the other likes them.
Harry is happy to see Ron as part of the rescue team but is a little self conscious that Ron will be able to see his body.
They would have danced at Bill and Fleur's wedding but, like, Harry was disguised as Ron's cousin. It would have been weird.
I'm pretty sure that in this universe, Ron wouldn't leave, but the locket would still go after him, and it wouldn't even change it's speech that much, "I have seen your dreams, Ronald Weasley, and I have seen your fears. All you desire is possible, but all that you dread is also possible... Least loved, always, by the mother who craved a daughter... Least loved, now, by the boy who would prefer anyone over you..." and Ron casts a scared look at Harry and Harry finally realizes that Ron likes him back and kisses him right then and there and that's how Ron got the courage to destroy the locket.
Hermione is just, like, "Finally, the two idiots are together"
I'm gonna do a time skip to right before the Battle of Hogwarts because I can, and Dean, Luna, and Hermione finally see Seamus, Ginny, and Padma again and Seamus jumps into Dean's arms and kisses him. The other two couples reunite as well, and then Ron and Harry announce that their together, because they don't want to be a secret, not now, not ever. And everyone's just like "Hermioneeee! This isn't fair! You totally pushed them together!" And they all head over to give her her winnings, because yes, she made a betting pool.
When Ron makes the comment about needing to save the house elfs, I think Hermione would still kiss him, but it would be a friendly kiss. And Harry and Ron would kiss while crying before Harry headed into the forest, and Hermione would have to hold Ron back from running after him.
When Voldemort announces that Harry is dead, Ron let's out a blood curdling, eat splitting scream. And Harry is on his feet within seconds. Voldemort turns and before he even realizes it, he's screaming Stupefy and Voldemort is yelling out the killing curse and Voldemort's curse backfires because the Elder Wand us flying into his hands, and... Voldemort is dead. No big speeches. Just thirty seconds of a duel and it's over. And Ron is running towards him.
Time skip again. Fred and Lavender are both saved after near death experiences. Lavender and Parvati finally get together. Fred and Lee reveal that they've been together for years and are now engaged. Percy and Oliver are together. Everyone is gay.
Ron and Harry open up a wizarding orphanage together and help their friends adopt.
I'm sorry that at points this wasn't focused on Ronarry, but you gotta admit,,, it was worth it. Plus, I had to make everyone gay because that's what I do best.
Dizzy and Celia eating cake is priceless. 🍰
Look how adorable they are eating cake. 💕

Jay (pan) and Gil (gay) are in love and that's the tea
I don't really know why but I've always thought that Carlos is trans
Jay (pan) and Gil (gay) are in love and that's the tea
Everyone whose looked has seen the headcanons where bi Harry falls for great seekers (i.e. Cho, Cedric, Ginny, Draco, Charlie) but I love the headcanons where he falls for the unexpected. And whose more unexpected than Percy Weasley?
When Percy moved back into the burrow after the war, Harry saw him a lot more often and saw how much he's changed. His bossy demeanor had diminished to a quiet one and for some reason, Harry found that he missed the old Percy.
This is Harry's bi awakening because let's be honest, that boy is oblivious as fuck and is only now thinking about his sexuality because there's not much else to think about.
At first, his crush on Percy is not a big deal. It's like this quiet flame, fading in and out of existence, only really coming out when he's around Percy, but after a little while, it's like his whole body is on fire, whether he's around Percy or not.
Eventually, he realized that he has to talk to Percy about it. He had to address this crush of his before it burns him alive.
But he can't. He really can't. He's in this comfortable routine with Percy. He knows that Percy eats meals an hour after the rest of the Weasleys do and Harry makes sure to join him every time. Most of the time they're both silent. Some times Percy cries and Harry tries to comfort him without making him uncomfortable. Once or twice they talked - both times avoiding the topics they really want to talk about.
Percy, on the other hand, has also been noticing new feelings that he has about Harry. At first, the feelings seemed to walk around his heart, tiptoeing, as if afraid that they would be too much for him. As time went on, the feelings slowly became more confident and by the time that Harry has decided that he needs to talk to Percy about his feelings, Percy feels the same way.
They're both silent about their feelings though. But they take a few more risks. Whenever Percy cries during one of his meals, Harry places his hand over the other boy's hand, sometimes intertwining their fingers. Harry now joins Percy when he's alone on the couch, reading, or when his bedroom door is open. Percy makes sure to be around more often, still kind of avoiding family time, but giving Harry more opportunities to join him.
Harry's actually unsure of the things that follow. He's not sure when he started sitting closer to Percy on the couch, practically cuddling. He's unsure of when Percy started doing desk work on his bed, laying on his stomach, and he's unsure of when they're legs began overlapping.
He's especially unsure of why one day Percy dropped his quill from his hands, the residual ink on the tip smudging the papers below, closed his eyes, and huffed out, "Can I please just kiss you?" But he's not unsure of why he nodded. He wanted this just as much as Percy did.
First, Percy just leant over and pressed their lips together, barely touching before they pulled apart, but they both wanted more. Percy flipped Harry over, pinning him to the bed, and pulled out his wand to make sure that the door was locked. He threw his wand across the room, ignoring all thoughts in his head saying that his wand would be scuffed, and leant down to kiss Harry gently - at first. Soon, they were nipping at each other's lips, and exploring each other's mouths with their tongues, and grinding into each other, and moaning, and taking off their shirts, and - haha this ain't an nsfw blog, you ain't getting more than that.
Later that day, feeling thoroughly satisfied, they sat together at dinner with the rest of the Weasleys. It was the first time that Percy had eaten with the family since he moved back in, but Harry made sure to hold his hand all the way through. They didn't hide their new relationship, they didn't want to hide it. They didn't want to be a secret. Not even when Arthur jokingly asked if they had set a date for the wedding - something Molly looked pleased about.
Ron wasn't even that upset when just a few days later, Harry moved his stuff into Percy's room - their room. He was happy that his best mate and his brother had been lucky enough to find a love so great in each other.
They loved falling asleep in each other's arms, they loved the little apartment in central London that they bought together, they loved taking turns cooking meals, they loved falling asleep watching TV on their couch, they loved the muggle world where neither of them was really recognized, where Percy went to Oxford to get a degree and where Harry ending up opening his own little hole in the wall resteraunt, but most of all, they loved being together.
They never completely left the magical world, but it wasn't their world anymore. They were their own sort of magic, and they didn't need their wands to show it. All they needed was each other.
Scorpius and Arthur are everyone's favorite gays, yep, gay as hell, and popular as well
Astoria and Ginny liked to set up play dates between these two, so by the time they got to Hogwarts age, they were already best friends (Dominique, Rose, Roxanne, Lorcan, and Lysander were also present during some of these playdates)
But, first, their childhood: They loved making forts & watching TV (which had recently been incorporated into the wizarding world), they loved Astoria's grilled cheese & tomato soup but hated Ginny's spaghetti and hot dogs, and they loved racing around on their miniature broomsticks
Anyways, they sat together on the train, equipped with Astoria's brownies and Molly's homemade sanwiches ("My dad said when he was a first year, your father bought the whole cart," Scorpius said; "Weird. I wonder why he would do that," Arthur said)
When they got to Hogwarts, they swore to each other that they would be in the same house. Thankfully, the sorting hat decided it was about time that a Malfoy and a Potter room together. They were both sorted into Slytherin :) (So did Dominique and Lorcan)
The first night, Scorpius got homesick for his mom and Arthur offered to cuddle with him to help him sleep. It wasn't anything that they hadn't done before. Although waking up the next day to find one of Lorcan's elaborate booby traps all around and Dominique taking pictures of them ("for her memory book") was definitely something they hadn't done before.
During their first year, they joined forces with Dominique and Lorcan to become the next generation of marauders. They loved pranking their siblings/cousins/friends and soon became the most popular kids in their year. But they didn't really care about their popularity. They just loved being together. But the greatest thing about their group was that none of them ever got caught. Well, not by teachers at least.
Second year, they became beaters on the Quidditch team, because they knew each other's every move. And if after every game, Arthur tackled Scprpius into a hug, well, then, that was just a nice bonus.
For their winter break, Scorpius joins Arthur and his family on a trip to New York and falls in love with the Dear Evan Hansen musical + soundtrack. Which led to him loving all types of muggle books and musicals, including but not limited to: Heathers: The Musical, Legally Blonde (musical), Simon vs. the Homosapiens Agenda & Leah On the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli, What If It's Us by Becky Albertalli & Adam Silvera, The Gentlemen's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee, etc.
Arthur loved listening to Scorpius rant about whatever new obsession he had. He would just sit there and listen for hours and hours, never getting distracted by anything else. Because after Scorpius would finish, he knew that he would be able to rant about how beautiful he thought the creatures that swam through the Slytherin aquarium were and how he wished more people appreciated them.
Also in second year, Dominique decided that they should all become animagi. They started right after they got back from Winter Break and ended right before Winter Break in Third Year. Arthur was a black dog (Zeppelin), Scorpius was a ferret (Kit), Dominique was a white cat (Duchess), and Lorcan was a goat (Drove).
Third Year, Arthur went on a trip with Scorpius's family over Winter Break (it was only fair, after all) and they spent the two weeks in the Carribean, going from one island to the next. They spent most of their days tanning on the beach, but also went on "adventures" like hiking in Puerto Rico and swimming in Mosquito Bay, night diving in Aruba and Bonaire and Curacao, taking historic tours through Santa Domingo, swimming with wild pigs in the Bahamas, and tricking their way into clubs in Jamaica, surfing in Haiti, etc.
But at the end of every night, they collapsed into bed with each other, and if Scorpius curled up against Arthur a little too much for boys their age, then it didn't matter (this is totally when Scorpius's crush on Arthur really began showing)
But they came back to terrible news. Lorcan had gotten sick, too sick, over break. He had been sick for a little bit before break, but no one had worried about it. At first, it was just a fever and chills, common symptoms of the cold. Over the break, he had begun getting tired all the time and food didn't appeal to him at all. Just after New Years, he was taken to a muggle hospital and it was declared that he had Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a type of cancer that begins in the lymphatic system. He was immediately pulled out of school, and Dominique and Lysander didn't return for nearly a month. It was devastating to everyone, including Scorpius and Arthur, who felt like they only had each other now.
The second semester of third year was mostly spent worrying over Lorcan. Scorpius had thought about telling Arthur about his crush many times, but it never seemed right. Something much bigger was going on, and he didn't want it to seem like he was selfish or anything. And then things got even worse. Scorpius's mother was pregnant again, and his father (and the doctors) weren't sure if she, or the baby, would survive.
Arthur spent the majority of the next summer at Scorpius's house, trying to take care of Scorpius as Scorpius took care of his mother. He slowly began to realize that he was, in fact, in love with his best friend, but he could deal with it after they were sure everything would be okay. Because everything would be okay. Maybe. Hopefully.
When they went back to school, despite Scorpius's protests, Scorpius began to have even more trouble sleeping. He had nightmares so bad sometimes that he refused to sleep. Arthur would offer to lay with him or steal some sleeping draughts from the potions lab, but Scorpius would always refuse because "It's my problem, not yours Art"
So with Dominique always worrying about Lorcan (he still wasn't back in school) and Scorpius always worrying about his mom, Arthur sort of lost himself. Not that he blames them for ignoring him, he would never do that... but they were his closest friends and he doesn't know how to help them.
By the time winter break came, Scorpius was out of his wits with worry. He couldn't sleep, his arms were scratched up from anxiety ticks, and he couldn't focus on anything for more than 2 minutes. Arthur couldn't bear to part with him at the station, but Scorpius did not want him coming home with him. Not this year.
Less than an hour after Astoria's death, the Potters got the news. Teddy, James, and Lily were upset, as they had all been babysat by the Malfoys when they were younger. Harry and Ginny were upset, as they had gotten closer with Draco and Astoria over the years. But Arthur was a wreck. He had to get to Scorpius, he had to, he had to, he had to... He couldn't stop crying.
Arthur refused to go back to school when break was over, so while his parents were dropping off James and Lily at the station, he stayed at home with Teddy. When he heard the knock at the door at ten past eleven, he wasn't sure what to think. Nobody from the neighborhood they lived in really talked to them. Muggle mail rarely came, unless one of the kids had ordered something off a muggle website. He heard Teddy open the door, he heard Teddy's voice speaking and another voice replying. A voice that was barely audible, yet still distinctly the voice of his best friend.
He heard the light footsteps on the stairs, and the click of his door opening, and he rolled over from where he was laying face down in his bed. Scorpius was standing there. With a baby in his arms. Arthur, of course, had heard that Astoria's baby had survived, but he also knew that there were many health problems. She was deaf for one. And would probably have breathing problems for the rest of her life.
"Her name's Indus. She just got released from Mungos. Dad's somewhere, I don't know where. But he's not home. He left us with (Great) Aunt Andromeda. She's downstairs, I didn't just leave without telling her." Scorpius kept on talking and talking until finally Arthur said, "Scor. You don't have to explain anything."
And Scorpius wanted to just collapse onto the bed. He wanted to hug his best friend for being so supportive. He wanted to kiss him too. But he had Indus in his arms and refused to let her go. If he let her go, she could die, and it would be all his fault.
Harry and Ginny come home and are definitely surprised, but they don't show it. Ginny coaxes Scorpius to let go of Indus ("You can't protect her when you're this tired. I promise to take care of her. I promise."). Harry heads out to search for Draco (whom he found and immediately brought back, so that he could warm up in front of the fire and eat for the first time in days). Teddy offers his room to Draco ("I can take Jamie's. He doesn't need it right now anyways."). Andromeda writes her sister, who is teaching at Hogwarts and wasn't able to get out of her duties, and then goes to the kitchen and cooks for group. Scorpius and Arthur are sleeping in the same bed for the first time in months, and despite everything that's happened, neither one of them has a nightmare.
After the funeral, Scorpius and Arthur go back to school, and to make sure the nightmares don't come back, they start sleeping in Arthur's bed every night.
And one night, many weeks later, Scorpius woke up around 2 AM, having just had a dream about Arthur. He couldn't think of anything else and he couldn't go back to sleep. So, he nudged his best friend awake ("Art. Artie. Arthur. Wake up," Scorpius whispered.) and Arthur freaks out ("Did you have a nightmare? Are you okay?", Arthur whispered back in a state of panicked drowsiness.) and Scorpius blushes and shakes his head ("No. I just had a dream. About you," Scorpius replied, a blush spreading across his cheeks.)
And Arthur sees his chance ("I like you, Scor. And I know that it could be awkward, because we're best friends and we could ruin everything but I really want to try this and - " and then Scorpius cuts him off and days "I like you too Art". And Arthur is super happy, but also super tired ("Talk about this tomorrow?", "Yeah") and they go back to sleep, cuddling a bit closer now
The next day, they wake up and they're both so happy and they don't want to get out of the bed, but they're also not talking. Finally, Scorpius rolls over in bed and looks at Arthur, whose eyes are already wide open, and says "Boyfriends?" and Arthur laughs at the lack of effort putting into the asking out, but it's okay, because he doesn't really like big gestures anyways (but Scorpius does). Anyways, he says yes, of course. And they finally kiss and end up skipping breakfast.
They go on dates whenever a Hogsmeade weekend comes around, and by the time they leave for spring break, they're pretty set in their relationship except now they have to be apart for an entire week and they do NOT like that.
To be continued...
Dean and Seamus were the gayest gays to ever gay and here's their story
They met on the Hogwarts Express and neither one could understand the other because Seamus has a thick Irish accent and Dean has a mild Australian accent, as he lived there until he was eight
But they try their best to understand one another, because they feel some kind of connection to one another, and quickly become best friends
Dean always helped Seamus clean up whenever he messes something up, which is a lot, but Dean is happy to help him. He also has to help through most doorways, as Seamus is exceptionally short
Seamus becomes increasingly worried during second year, because Dean is presumably a muggleborn, and he doesn't want to lose his friend
Dean started realizing that he liked Seamus in third year and immediately went to his favorite professor - Remus, of course - for advice. He was very surprised when he learned that Remus was the perfect person to go to for advice on liking your best friend.
Seamus and Dean went to World Quidditch Cup together, and unfortunately, Seamus gained an aversion to the sound of explosions, and ended up having a panic attack everytime he messed up thereafter. Dean always helped him through though.
Seamus realized in fourth year, and talked to his other best friend - Lavender (who happened to be in love with Parvati) - about it. They decided to go to the Yule Ball together (as friends) because they didn't know how to ask out their crushes.
They have a sort of a falling out in 5th year when Seamus believed that Harry was lying about Voldemort, but they still remained friends.
When Dean was dating Ginny in their sixth year, Seamus is sure that there is no way Dean likes him, and begins to have a bit of a crush on none other than Harry
Harry and Seamus kiss a few times, thinking it will help them get over Ginny and Dean, but it doesn't, so they end it quickly and mutually
Seamus cries every night in his seventh year, hoping that Dean is safe, wishing that he had told Dean that he loved him before it was too late, and ohmerlinohmerlinwhatifit'stoolate
When Dean climbs through the portrait hole, Seamus runs towards him, jumps into his arms (because he is very small), and cries about how happy he is knowing that Dean is safe
They kiss after the battle, just a short im-glad-we-made-it-through kiss, but still, they kiss
They both visit Dean's family for a few weeks after the battle and then go visit Seamus's mom, and tell each of their families about their new relationship (Dean's mom was wary at first, but she wasn't going to lose her son over her own issues (issues that she would eventually grow out of); Seamus's mom had known from the first letter)
Neither goes back to Hogwarts, instead they rent a small apartment in central London, and Seamus works at a coffee shop, while Dean works at a bookstore and works on his art at night
When Weasleys Wizarding Wheezes reopens, Seamus starts working there and develops a line of soundless fireworks and other soundless pranks for those with PTSD, and eventually goes on to own 10% of the shop (I think I worded that right)
They end up adopting many, many kids and got married in Ireland in Spring 2016 (Seamus insisted on waiting until Ireland made it legal)
None of this was mentioned, because a certain writer wanted to play it safe and not mention any actually canon gays in her story, so I have to do her work 😂

Rowena and Helga being lesbians together is a huge fucking aesthetic, no proof needed, but I'll still provide
They were the ones who added the secret passages into the castle, because Godric and Salazar kept on making Hogwarts bigger and bigger, and it just seemed implausible to them that students would be able to get around.
After Godric added the moving staircases because "students need to prove their bravery", Helga and Rowena used their combined power to charm them to where students actually can't fall off of them
Helga added the enchanted ceiling to the Great Hall as a surprise for Rowena, because Rowena always loved staring up at the sky.
After renovating Hogwarts each day, they would sit in their cottage and drink wine and kiss and just be lesbians
They came up with a nail shortening charm *glances at the lesbian community because they know what's up*
Their ship name could be Helena, which is literally Rowena's daughter's name! Like come on, there is no denying how great this ship is.
Luna and Ginny were the best of friends and maybe a bit a more (they were totally more) *in a world where Hinny never happened*
They’ve been best friends for just about forever
Their first kiss was when they were 13, but got together at 15
Luna spends the night whenever Ginny thinks her PTSD nightmares are coming back
Ginny punches anybody who dares call her girlfriend “Loony”
Luna was Ginny’s biggest fan at Quidditch games (and in general)
Ginny would listen to Luna read The Quibbler outloud, because she liked the sound of her voice
Ginny kept pairs of Luna’s shoes in her trunk, in case the nargles decided to steal again
They both dancing in the rain and warming up by the fire in the Gryffindor common room
Luna always wore Ginny’s clothes, especially her Quidditch jersey and all of her hoodies
Sometimes, mysteriously, the ties switched for no reason at all (*cough* they were making out in the broom closet,,, again *cough*)
After the war, Luna moved into the Burrow and shared Ginny’s room. They technically had two beds, but they only needed one
They cannot cook. At all. Molly is always sending them “leftovers” that last for days
They love taking baths together
They got matching tattoos
They travel the world, Luna writing for The Quibbler and Ginny being a freelance journalist for Quidditch columns all over the world
They have a simple home in Ireland
They got married in 2014 and Ginny took Luna’s last name
