Atlanta, Georgia - Porterβs Residence - 11:30AM
After breaking the news to her parents Genesis and Jimmy decided to head back to Atlanta to visit her parents so they could see her and the little one that was growing inside of her tummy right now, Jimmy had parked the car in front of the driveway as he turned off the the car and unbuckle his seatbelt.
He opened the car door on his side before heading towards her passenger side door and opened it for her as she took his hand and got out of the carβhe shut the door behind her while interlocking his hands with her as they walked up to the door. Genesis had pressed the doorbell ringer as her and Jimmy stood there waiting on someone to open the door.
She was in her comfortable clothing with her braids in her hair clip and lips popping with lip-gloss along with her lashes done too and nailsβshe looked gorgeous in Jimmyβs eyes when he kept stealing glances at her from time to time.
Thatβs when they heard someone unlocking the door and there stood her big brother standing there with a smile on his face when he had seen his little sister and Jimmyβhe opened up the screen door as he hugged his little sister.
βI had to come to mama's place when I heard the news, congrats little sis.β Jacari said as he dabbed up Jimmy pulling him into a hug.
βThank you brother.β Genesis replied as Jacari let them inside of the house.
When they walked inside of the house Genesis took off her shoes and placed them by the front door as Jimmy did the same thingβshe walked inside of the living room letting Jimmy lay down first on the couch as she laid on her side feeling Jimmyβs hand on her tummy.
Thatβs when she heard her mother shouting from upstairs before hearing her footsteps coming down the steps as she had seen the couple cuddling up together on the couch which made her smile.

Genesis got up slowly from the couch while hugging her mother.

With that they continued to talk about baby names and planning out her baby shower plans with what decorations did Genesis wanted and whoβs cooking the foodβher mother wanted to make sure that this was perfect for Genesis.
Genesis had fallen asleep on Jimmy as he had heard her little snores coming from her lips just made him chuckle while brushing her braids away from her face.
Thatβs when he had heard her mother ask him something, βso Jon after this, youβre going to marry my daughter? Ion want her to go through another divorce thatβll break my heart.β
βOf course Iβm going to marry her, she brings the best out of me every single time I see her and bringing this bundle of joy made it even better.β
Her mother stared at him with joy in her eyes when he had said that she knew that her daughter was going to safe in his arms, including the baby that was inside of her daughter.
βIβm glad to hear that Jon, it warms my heart seeing her all happy again with someone like you. I thought she was never going to leave Quincy.β
Jimmy had raised an eyebrow at her mother with a confused expression on her face when she had said that what did she mean by that?

Mrs. Porter didnβt know if she wanted to tell Jimmy all those times that Genesis was with Quincy at the time she saw how her daughter was losing her mind and her sanity being with that man. She knew that her daughter was depressed and almost ended up taking her life because of Quincy.
It just broke her heart seeing her daughter crying every single night, feeling heartbroken, and didnβt even feel safe being around Quincy knowing how aggressive he came off.
Before she could say anything about what she had said Mrs. Porter heard the phone ringing in the kitchen she looked at Jimmy before giving him a faint smile on her face before heading towards the kitchen leaving him all types of confused.
He looked down at Genesis who was sleeping peacefully on his chest on the couch with her little snores escaping her lips which made him chuckle at herβbut his mind still lingered at what her mother said before she had left towards the kitchen.
So he decided to get some answers and the only person he could talk to was Jacari about it. He had seen Jacari on his phone scrolling through his social media.Β

βWhat did yβall mama mean when she said that she never thought Genesis wasnβt going to leave Quincy alone?β Jacari had placed his phone down on the couch, sighing deeply while looking at his little sister who was sleeping peacefully on the couch across from him.
He knew exactly what Jimmy was asking but didnβt want to talk about it because it was so personal to Genesis and it was her story to tell whenever she was ready because not only did she experience Quincy cheating and stealing her money. She also experienced Depression, Verbal Abuse, all of those things you can think of being with a man like Quincy.
But Jimmy had every right to know since heβs planning on marrying her, Jacari signaled Jimmy to come outside with him so they could talk in private which he did follow himβbut before he could he wrapped a blanket around Genesisβs body before heading out back with Jacari.
Once they made it out back together Jimmy had placed his hands inside of his pocket as Jacari had pulled out a blunt and a lighterβhe sparked up the lighter seeing a flame come out from the top of it while placing the fire underneath the blunt to light it up.
He took a few puffs out of it before blowing it up in the air looking up at the sky, before looking at Jimmy who was doing the same.
Thatβs when Jacari began to say something, βlook man, this is personal stuff to Genesis. She didnβt want me to tell a soul about it.β He said before taking a slight pause in his sentence.
Jacari continued on, βBut since youβre going to marry my sister, I believe you have every right to know.β
Jimmy nodded his head listening to Jacari speaking. Jimmy wanted to know every little thing about Genesis, even the bad parts that she hadnβt told him yet, maybe she didnβt tell him because she wanted to protect her peace and move on.
He loved her dearly and would do anything for her, and their unborn child.
βGenesis went through a hard time being with Quincy, especially when shit got bad between them and I mean bad Jon.βΒ

She nodded her head while throwing her hands up in defeat, she didnβt want to have this conversation anymore, she knew he was going to care about it so Genesis decided that she needed to leave before she loses her mind dealing with him.
She grabbed her keys and her phone while starting walking towards the door, before she could even open the door he was blocking her way within seconds.

Jimmy checked the time on his phone. It was almost time for them to go to their appointment to check up on the baby as Genesis came outside.
She hugged him with her lips forming into a pout as she looked up at him with her innocent eyes, while Jimmy leaned forward to press a soft kiss on her lips.
βHey mama, you ready to go?β Jimmy asked.
βYeah, I wanna get this over with so I can eat and come back home to go back to sleep.β Genesis said.
It made Jimmy chuckle at her cuteness as he placed a kiss on her forehead before interlocking his fingers with hers, he dapped up Jacari telling him that theyβll talk later when they come back from the doctor appointment.

They both finally made it to the doctor's appointment to check up on the baby just to see how the little one was doing inside of Genesis' stomach.
Jimmy signed her in as they waited for the doctor to call them inside the room, Jimmy couldnβt help but to rub Genesis belly while Genesis laid on his shoulder as she scrolled through her social media timeline while doing so.
She could see that Trinity was still feeling pretty bitter about Jimmy leaving her for Genesis making these smart ass comments and remarks about her but it didnβt bother Genesis whatsoever.
Once the doctor had called them in,Β Jimmy had interlocked his fingers with hers as they both walked towards the door and towards the room where sheβll be at to check in.
The room was softly lit, and the gentle hum of the ultrasound machine provided comfort as the doctor carefully glided the wand over Genesisβs bare stomach. Jimmy stood next to her, holding her hand firmly.
βLook at the little one.β The doctor smiled, turning the screen. βStrong heartbeat, healthy movements. Just a healthy baby inside of her tummy.β
Genesis and Jimmy had looked at each other with joy in their eyes seeing their little one in her stomach doing somersaults in there which caused them to chuckle.
βWould you like to know the gender of the baby?β They both nodded their heads as their eyes were glued onto the screen as the doctor moved the wand around Genesis' stomach.
They were curious about whether they were expecting a girl or a boy. Genesis felt indifferent about the baby's gender; her only concern was that the baby was healthy, which was what truly mattered to her.
The doctor had stopped as she turned the screen around again to show them the gender of their baby and to her surprise they were having a baby girl together.

Genesis could see the joy in Jimmyβs glow like the stars in the sky when he looked at the screen. He was having his first baby girl but he was having it with someone special and that person was Genesis.
The doctor had given Genesis a paper towel to clean herself off as the doctor had printed out the ultrasound pictures for them to have, Genesis had finished cleaning herself up while fixing her clothing.
βCongrats you two!β The doctor said before walking out the door.
Genesis had grabbed her purse until she felt Jimmy wrap his hands over her belly rubbing it in circles while placing wet kisses on her neck causing her to chuckle.
They both looked over the ultrasound pictures admiring their little baby girl.
βI think sheβs gonna look like you boo.β Genesis said.
Jimmy raised an eyebrow at her while chuckling, βoh yeah?β

They finally came back to her mother house since they were staying over there for a bit until they head back out on the road for Monday night raw. She felt her phone buzzing seeing a notification from the group chat with the girls. They were probably wondering how the doctor's appointment went but to her surprise she had seen a screenshot of what Trinity was posting on her story.

Jade came inside the apartment complex seeing her best friend with blood trickling down her leg as she saw the fear in her eyes, she didnβt ask questions or what had happened she held Genesis hand and helped her to the car just to head towards the hospital for confirmation.
And that drive back home after hearing the news that she had lost her baby due to Quincy stressing her out and verbally abusing her, now she doesnβt have a baby anymore.
Jade had interlocked her hand with hers while driving her back home to pack some clothes so that she could stay with her for bit.
