Like I fear he'd never recover. Shit I wouldn't either.

What do you think would happened regarding her pregnancy in terms of who the father is because obviously he wants no part of it. Or is it known he's the baby daddy but just for namesake.
This one a little too juicy so I have questions. What happens if Mari does eventually move on cause ofc roman not in the picture. He probably got his roster on the side too. Like do you think this man would be okay if his baby was out here calling another man, dad and like being a whole ass family like Mari, her new husband and baby living together ?
Also what do you think would happen cause this is his first born so that's his heir.. how would he navigate that.

oh yeah, the fact that ltye didn't end with either roman or solana dying still low key surprises me, just because at the very early stages, it wasn't a matter of if. it was how. like in what manner would they be unalived. 🥲
in my mind, mari is so early on in her pregnancy that i'm not sure how much "content," if you will, she would have. i imagine her being between 6 to 8 weeks. so perhaps he did stumble across some lyrics or even a whole song she wrote about the pregnancy. maybe even a million tabs open on her laptop, all about said pregnancy. a pinterest board. two. one for if it was a boy, and another for if it was a girl. yeah, it'd fuck up anyone for sure. 🥺
so if we're talking the path where he just disappears from her life. i think the narrative fed to her is that she got pregnant via a one night stand so she's not sure who the father is. something to where mari doesn't go looking for anything. it's a hell of an experience to wake up with little to no memories while being pregnant, but that scenario, drunk ons resulting in unexpected pregnancy, happens more often than i think people realize.
in the event that mari moves on and remarries, raises her child with another man, it would be hard for roman, in a sense. but he wouldn't interfere. he's constantly reminding himself why he went the route he did. mari and their child almost died because of him. he views any connection or relationship with him to her and their child to be a first class ticket to the grave. the jealous, primal part of him would automatically hate the man lmao but he wouldn't do anything about it. just continue to watch from a distance and ensure their lives (minus ole dude) are as easy/safe as possible. it does hurt him a little that he can't be in his kid's life, but the desire to protect outweighs the desire to know.
roman would remarry and produce an heir. he wouldn't consider the child with mari as his heir, girl or boy. just his firstborn, even if only a select few know it. again, he doesn't want them in danger, in any sort of manner.
chile, idk how the child would find out, but if they did, i mean....idk, i feel like mariella and ole dude are so far removed from gotham (they most likely move out of state) that the kid would be more shaken from finding out who their bio dad is than "i'm supposed to be the heir to my father's crime syndicate!" most likely more of, "so you wanted that kid but not me?" type shit 😩
