The "I'm just saying this for their health" people can go fuck themselves. If they were honest they would welcome fat people in gyms with a fanfare and a red carpet, they would say "great job!" or "you'll get better, have faith" at every fat beginners, they would campaign for comfortable and flattering athletic clothes in enormous sizes, they would do whatever in their power for fat people to feel welcome in public spaces.

Weirdly, only body positive people care about these things. You know, the same people who are always accused of "promoting an unhealthy lifestyle"? 🤔

Almost as if fatshaming people "for health reasons" is just an excuse for taking out their own frustration and insecurities on marginalized people without consequences. (Almost...)

At the end of the day, you should only do what makes you happy and not worry too much about what others think. Cuz those who worry too much about what you do in your life instead of focusing more on their own happiness are the ones who won’t succeed in life cuz they’re miserable themselves and only want to control others to lift themselves up (which is unhealthy and not a good way earn happiness).

I mean, what if the ones who worry too much about what you do in your life end up working for you someday?
