“I’m not really a kid anymore but if this is for everyone regardless of age, i guess i should tag along.” Knowing Lysithea was not afraid of scary things, even ghosts then tagging along is a must to get herself some candies.

Now they need is costumes.

“Yeah, well, sitting in a big empty castle isn’t…The best feeling right now. I know it’s weird, and I know you don’t necessarily understand, but, uh,…Thanks anyway, for trying to.” He looks a bit sheepish. How’s he supposed to tell the kid that they definitely wouldn’t be seeing each other at any point outside of this place?

Nah, those were his troubles. And nothing that the shoulders of a kid needed to bear.

“As for things going on, uh…Well, there was a big ball this summer, and then a bunch of paintings came to life and attacked people, and then some people got to take some paintings home? Was pretty creepy - people’s parents were popping out and some stuffed animals came to life, too.”

“You know... sitting in a big empty castle would make you look like you are about to tell a tragic tale of some kind, then be very overdramatic about something. I think I’ve seen that way too many times.” Sora couldn’t help but imagine Zack doing a complete 180 of his own personality and becoming so mellow dramatic. “You can always have other friends like with you too, if you’re feeling that lonely.” 

As Sora listen, the things he had missed out were... well, they could be traumatizing for some people!

“You’re definitely the social butterfly.” 

It isn’t. Quite the same thing in Badou’s mind, but as always he respects Sora’s thoughts. 

“Any kind. The useful  kind.”

he feels a headache coming on. he’s surprised to see the boy, honestly; he never considered that rather than being returned to his own time he would end up in a new world, never mind a world where sora would be.

was this some kind of punishment?

It takes a lot of effort to bring Sora down from a good mood, and just seeing the younger version of Xehanort was already enough. Frowning at the other’s presence, Sora kept a close eye in case of any tricks the other could pull at any moment. Hopefully a chat is all he was here for.
