Ice cream from the city is weird. Omori thinks to himself as he stands in front of the roadside stand selling a myriad of different flavors. Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, green tea, cannoli... sea salt? Charcoal?
The boy stares at the menu, empty eyes and lack of color on his body unnerving the poor vendor behind the counter.

( it probably sounded more mocking than anything. ) murderbot resisted the urge to check its’ built in weapons - just to make sure that they were still there. it had spent so much time in this world without its’ guns that it felt weird now to have them - not that it was complaining about that in particular. “ ...it still sucks, though. ”
