The Disney That Never Was. Concept Art by Mary Blair For Penelope And The Twelve Months It’s can be fun to speculate about what might have been when looking back to all the Disney stories and characters that Disney never got off the drawing board. The projects get shelved for a variety of reasons all the time but that doesn’t mean that the artwork left behind has not value. Penelope And The Twelve Months is certainly more well know when compared to other lost projects within the studio partly because it’s linked with Mary Blair. Her concept art in this case is stunning as always and I hope you will enjoy getting a glimpse of what might have been.
