Letters From My Sister

Reaching for the sky on-exhales, my muscles trembling

I feel the weight of my baggage dripping off of me;back exhaling into a deeper stretch of downward dog

I step into an exhaling Vinyasa flow, reminding myself that in this moment I am free,I am strong,I am soft ,and I am love and love is forever changing.

I can pour into your soul and love you from a far as you are not ready to walk in the shoes set before you

I need you too communicate love that will reassure me

And it must first be felt...

My compassion is capable of showing you but you must lay down the telescope leading your view

What is meant for you will buckle your knees and humble you

It is untamable and unpredictable and requires you to do something your still learning to do

and that’s love yourself on your own two feet and it is what we are defining

Love was something that wasn’t fully explained .. it had conditions that needed to be met by some and boundaries that simply needed to be met by others

It came with no rule book ..

Love was beautiful and it shed light on our pain .. the beauty of our confusion that was so simply explained with 3 words ... I love you

It has no job , no title , no manager keeping tract of its attendance. No dictator giving executions. It didn’t give you a name or number to stand in line with until it was your turn..

I admire the courage that you have to be yourself out loud. But say less

you’re choosing to use a lot of the wrong words and not enough of the right words .

It’s okay to love thy neighbor but don’t extend your love so much that you mistake it with pain.

Good days come and go like the tides brushing a-sure and just like those tides your morning can go from good to very bad,to happy,to feeling useless, and angry only to rest at “ I am in control of what I am in control of” and nothing more.

Be still within the tides of the river bend as life takes you to the bottom of the water falls.

Bare in mind Compassion is a key ingredient to calm waters once you’ve survived the way.

Use it for healing, loving yourself and loving others who may have broken you when you fell on their rocks.

We’re all going through moments of life that require us to work on ourselves. And in doing so, we must move forward with faith in one hand,courage in the either and love in your hearts.
