I wish people were a little more hyped about me coming out as non binary...like I know I should just be happy my family kind of just shrugged about it and moved on but like...it was really hard to do and I'm still struggling. I thought when I came out I wouldn't feel so alone and have to deal with all this on my own but i still am?

I write these words at night when everyone else is asleep but I cant close my eyes because if I do the darkness will seep in to destroy me piece by piece and I dont think I have enough strength to put myself back together before the morning light.

I passed a grave yard today.... so many of the headstones were nameless.

Is that all I'll become? A nameless headstone on top upturned earth?

Will my stone wither and crack from lack of compassion? The weeds griping my stone as if it were there life line?

Is that all I'll become? A weeds only friend. Just as hopeful as I was stretching up to the sky only to die before they get there.

That's all I'll become. A nameless stone that lifts the plants that sprout from the earth higher and give homes to tiny insects in the cracks on my stone.

That's all I'll become and I think... perhaps I might learn to see the beauty in that idea.

You know how most people when they were younger thought "I'm not gonna stick my foot off the edge of the bed. I'm too scared a demon will get me". Well my thought process was "the worst that can happen is a demon kills me, my death is a mystery to my family and I miss school tomorrow... buttttttt the best that can happen is I make a new gourly friend so ima take my chance"
